Madi....Today is Forgive Mom and Dad Day

Today, March 18 is actually 'Forgive Mom and Dad Day'
My very handsome and smart friend Jack
commented on my March 4, post that 'the one with the food is always right'.
Jack, I've been pondering this for some time and agree with you so today

Mom, I for give you for

1. putting the yarn wrapper on my tail and head and posting the pictures for the world to see
March 4, 2010
*2. mistakenly posting my St. Patrick's Day post for March 17 on March 4 for 1 hour before you realized it was there!!!

Dad I forgive you for:
1. Dad I forgive you for telling Mom that you found me sitting on the cook top...
That was supposed to be our secret....now every time I go in the kitchen she
bellows Madi you better not be on that cook top.
Madi,
Diva Island Princess Cat of Forgiveness

NOTE: From Mom and Madi
Some of you were not able to bring up our blog yesterday, March 17. We were told you were only able to see the March 16 post. Yesterday's post was the blog post that mom posted on *March 4 by mistake. We took it down within an hour of posting it. We thought that was that, but it could be the reason why yesterday's post did not show up as new. We are totally non-techie thus don't know the answer and apologize for the aggravation. If anyone knows what might have caused this, please let us know.
UPDATE: When the *blog was posted in error there were two comments posted on it that day 3/4/10. Mom started thinking that maybe for some reason that was making the 'blog brain' think it was an old post. We figured out how to delete those comments.

  3. Dear Mom
This is Lautrec speaking...I'm sure Madi has no problems forgiving you for all those horrible things you and Dad did....what might especially help for her to forgive you is if you give her a nice big plate of salmon or turkey. I think she will be able to completely erase her memory boards if you do that. Just a suggestion.

Your pal, Lautrec (now, could you please give Madi a nice big purr for me? Thank you!)

  4. Hi Madi & Mom,

Madi, that is so nice of you to forgive your mom and dad. Cindi says she would prefer I not post the photo of her tongue but she "might" forgive me if I do.

I had no problem bringing up yesterday's post. Stuff like that happens, I just blame blogger.

  6. Hi Madi, that is very noble of you to forgive your mom and dad. We know sometimes there is a lot to forgive but you must remember, they are only humans!
We love your rolling over picture!
Regarding your blogging problems - blogger remains a mystery to us. We have sometimes posted in error and then it shows up on everyone's blog roll but when you click there is no post there.
We have found this with others too. We must have missed your problem but the start of the week is always hard for us to blog!!!!
    love and kisses

  17. We don't have much to forgive mom about, but Dad?!? He yells at us when we're in the sink, begging for mom's food, eating cereal milk outta mom's bowl WHILE she's still eating it, she doesn't care, um, what else? Oh let us count the ways...

  18. Madi, that was very nice to forgive your mom and dad. Don't worry, I know you will find another "special spot" that neither one of the humans will know about....at least for a little while! Hugs andwags, Mistaya

  19. You are very good to forgive your mum and dad. We probably wouldn't be so forgiving. We can't remember if we had trouble visiting you yesterday. We didn't visit many friends because mum was too busy to help us.
The two comments from when you first posted shouldn't make any difference. Did you remember to change the date stamp when you reposted? If not, it would still go up in the date sequence when you first posted it.Blogger does weird things sometimes though.

  20. If you can get Madi to listen and NOT sit on the cooktop, please let me know your secret. Jack will do things he knows he's not supposed to do and then just look at me like I'm speaking Martian.

  21. It's true, we didn't see your post yesterday.
I agree with Jack. The kibble keeper is the one to be nice to. You finally caught on. Let me demonstrate: I forgive my mother for not taking extreme measures to see your St Pat's post. There.

  22. HI Madi --
YOU got up on the cooktop too?
My sisfur Boo does that, and one day she turned on the timer. Momma is glad that her cooktop has a lock on it....she nefur would have thought about us turning it on...(since it's all push button)
    Speaking about blogger....
we have published a post that was meant for the next day and once we went back in to correct the date, blogger just kept it posted with the wrong date...but if you deleted it I have a feeling it wouldn't repost on the right day. WE wondered why we didn't see a posting from you yesterday!

What a sweet girl for forgiving your mommy and daddy. You have a big heart!

Next time, wait till they leave the house to jump up on the cooktop.
