Blogging is hard(ly) work for Madi

So is Madi working hard on her blog.....
or hardly working on her blog??????
The answer to that question is, Madi is working hard at checking the notes she dictated for accuracy and most of all that I am working very hard on the blog.....which is hard to do when there is a large obstruction blocking my view. Her job is that of a decorative paper weight.

  1. Ha! Ha! Madi! You are looking so very intently at your dictation notes! You are very good at helping out! Jazzie Jessie likes to lay on the keyboard!

  2. She's working harder than our cats, particularly one of them who is not Simone. Madi moved! As far as some cats are concerned that's burning the candle at both ends. Woof!

  4. I'm pretty sure that's what working hard looks like. It can be REALLY hard work to keep one's assistant in line and keep them from running off to eats chocolate or something. So good job, Madi!

  9. Hey Madi and Mom:

I would have answered your message direct to you, but it shows as no-reply-comment

English classes you use the small close contact saddle and wear a helmet, jacket, a traditional show shirt, breeches and tall boots which are the english attire.

Western Pleasure is performed using a western saddle, and western attire. Cowboy hat, collared western type shirt, vest or jacket, chaps/jeans/show pants and cowboy boots.

Sr. Western Pleasure denotes the horses age. Generally horses 6 and over are considered Sr. pleasure horses.

  11. Forgot to answer one of your questions - Ladies Western Pleasure is for women 18 years and older.

Western Pleasure means your horse performs at a walk, trot (some call it a jog) and a lope (some call it a canter). Never a gallop (gallop is running very fast).

West. Pleasure horses must travel very slow in any gait that is called for in the class. They will sometimes ask the contestants to extend the trot/jog, but it is only slightly faster.

In English the trot is very fast and the horse must stride out and cover a lot of ground. We are sometimes asked to extend the trot and the horse has to speed up and really move on out.

Good Job paperweighting! We do the same with out Mommy, and often we invite her to Sniff the end NOT by our necks. She never does, though...we wonder why.
