Sunday: Cat's Bill of Rights #13

I have the right to inspect any grocery or food item that comes into the home.

Further, I have the right to inhabit any paper bag
or cardboard box that you bring home for as long as I wish.
As stated in 'Chicken Soup for the Soul: Lovin' our Cat'
Signed,
Madi

  1. CatSister totally agrees with #13!! I have noticed that she is quick to get in a paper bag if M.O.M. sets it on the floor!
I don't quite understand this strange behavior but CatSister sure seems to enjoy it and kind of acts like a playful kitten every time she does it! I try to understand kitties but most of the time their are just a mystery to this pup!

  3. We must assert our rights! The humans and the dogs often my take it all aways! What would we do without boxes... and groceries... and bags?

  4. Once again, too sweet for words!! You should run for Kitty Congress. I know four of us that would vote in your favor! Me, Bud, Tahoe and Winston. You're a winner.

  6. That is so true. Don't ever forget that cats rule and we certainly have our rights and the box and bag are very important to our rights. Good jog Madi.

  8. Hi Madi, these are all basic feline rights, we will not argue with you at all!
Bailey has managed to eat some boiled fish and rice today - so thought of you - you kitties like fish - right!

  9. Of course you do, and you can add knocking anything that you don't approve of off of the table to that list, also.

  11. Madi, you are SO right! Mommy sometimes has 5 or 6 Cats on the counter when she unpacks groceries...she threatens to put us in the cupboard!

  12. Boxes are the greatest! M and Z never leave one without inspecting it fully!

  20. This is a good one Madi, it is definitely one of our bestest rights. We have to check on all those groceries and make sure the proper kitty treats are in there somewhere.

All paper bags and boxes belong to us and we can stay in them as long as we want.....right on!

    Purrs,
    Cindi Lou
