Now that I'm 9......

....Mom says I'm old enough to find out what lies beyond the tan door in our computer room. I don't have a clue but I think it must be a new and wonderful world.  I've never been in there becasue Mom was too lazy to clean it up said it was dangerous.  So anyway
she decided it was time to make it kind of presentable.  Our house is what is called a story and a half which means no attic. When we added on to the back of our house, Dad asked the men to make us an 'attic storage room'.  I'm here to tell you it is full of lots of neat things.  Today I'll show you some of it but never fear there will be more tours

OH MY CATS, LOTS OF THINGS TO CLIMB ON AND ......ANOTHER BROWN DOOR

MOM CAN I GO IN THERE TOO??
NO MADI THAT IS COMPLETELY OFF LIMITS..IT LEADS INTO RAFTERS AND NO TELLING WHAT ELSE.

I'M BUSY CALCULATING THE AERODYNAMICS NEEDED TO PROPEL
MY GIRTH UP TO THE TOP OF THE FILE CABINET....

I THINK IT WILL BE EASIER TO USE THIS STOOL....OH MY WORD WHAT IS THAT CONTRAPTION?  IS IT A CAT WALK?

MOM: NO MADI THAT IS TAZ'S PORTABLE PERCH IN CASE HE HAS TO COME VISIT US.
MADI:OH MY CATS PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TAZ THE PARROT IS COMING.

So folks this concludes today's tour of what is behind the tan door.

  10. That was a lovely tour, Madi. It must have been very exciting for you to see what was beyond that tan door. I wish I had an "attic" like that. I have to use a ladder and climb through a hole in the ceiling to get into mine. Needless to say, with my, ahem, girth, that doesn't happen.

  11. Look at all the things you could jump on! My mind is going crazy with possibilities perhaps you should hold an attic party for all of us kitties to play!

  12. Love, love, love the aerodynamics photo!! You're such a sweetie dear Madi!!

Tahoe and I were sittin' by our window just now and ogling over a cat from the 'hood! A huge cat that makes Tahoe look petite. And that is saying something!!

Ohhhhhhhhh, and I betchore mom is counting the hours now. Come on Thursday. You may even see what's behind door #2. Hope it's a big prize.

  14. That looks like quite an interesting room with all kinds of contraptions and hidden dangers - be careful! Taz, the parrot? Is he a cousin of yours? Does he talk?

  18. Golly! We wish WE had a Tan Door at our house!

Madi, rest up this week. We can tell you from experience that it's EXHAUSTING to have Mommy home alla the time. She refused to sit down and NAP, like any sensible life form.

    Perhaps she's an alien.

  19. Madi, thanks for the interesting tour and now I'm curious about the other tan door. We wouldn't want you hanging from the rafters, so be careful, sweet Madi if you get inside the other room.

After all of these years you finally got to explore the room behind TAN DOOR, to find there's another tan door!
So much exploring, so little time!
I love to sniff around and explore, but I'm not as aerodynamic as you, Madi!
