THIS IS NO APRIL FOOL'S JOKE........

MY EYES GLAZED OVER AND EVERYTHING BECAME
A LITTLE FUZZY LAST NIGHT WHEN MOM SAID SHE

WAS NEVER GOING TO WORK AGAIN

MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS WHO IN THE WORLD WILL BUY MY FOOD  FOR HER WELL BEING!!
BUT THEN SHE EXPLAINED THE MEANING OF

R E T I R E D

AND ALL WAS RIGHT IN MADI-LAND.
DAD, DID YOU KNOW MOM WILL BE WITH US 24/7/365
DOESN'T THAT SOUND LIKE FUN DAD?
DAD SAID, "LIFE AS HE AND I HAVE KNOWN FOR THE LAST 9 YEARS HAS FOREVER CHANGED".
MOL,
DAD IS SO DRAMATIC.
I BETTER GO CHECK ON MOM.  SHE IS BEING KIND OF QUIET.  SHE MIGHT NEED MY HELP.
TTFN,
MADI

  9. MOL @ The Hearbeats' comment!

We're pretty sure your mom won't have any problem adjusting to retirement, but your dad might have a problem adjusting to it. If he disappears into his man-cave for days on end, you'll know why. :-D

  12. I love that picture of you on the shiny wood floor, your laser eyes are reflected off it!

Yes, there will be changes, like maybe you could wait a little longer for breakfast now. After all Mom doesn't have to be up so early any more.
I promise you she will not let you starve if you have to wait 20-30 minutes!

Wow, Dad has been retired for 9 years?! He's going to have a few adjustments, too!

Have fun with both of your peeps around!
