YEPPERS I'M UNDER THE BED
BUT
WHY?

I'M HIDING FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN.
THE LAST TIME ONE OF THEM CAME, I WAS NAPPING ON THE PEEP'S BED.  HE HAD THE AUDACITY
TO RUB MY HEAD.  NO SIR'RE BOBTAIL HE WON'T BE DOING THAT THIS TIME

NOTE FROM MOM:  MADI SPEAKS THE TRUTH.  HER DAD TOLD ME THE
FELLOW WENT INTO THE BEDROOM TO CHECK THE VENT HE DID RUB HER HEAD.  HE SAID THE LOOK ON MADI'S FACE WAS PRICELESS.  THE HOTS RETURN THIS WEEK SO WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE OUR A/C IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER.

  1. Waking up to a strange hand rubbing your head...? EEEWWWWW! We'd be under the bed, too! Or barking our heads off at the front door.

    Stay cool, beautiful!

  3. The air conditioning man is a good man. He keeps Mommy cool which keeps her happy which usually means happy Mommy = treats = happy Madi ... right? :)

  4. We can totally understand hiding under the bed! We do not like any so called "repairguys" coming to our house...let alone trying to pet us! Glad though that you will be able to stay cools in the heat!

  6. Well who could blame her? Imagine getting rubbed without permission! :)

  7. Oooh, I think I might have hided too :o xx

  8. But Madi, can you really blame him? Your sweet furry head is irresistible! Just kidding, how dare he?

Miss Cindi hides whenever the doorbell rings so no chance of a repair person getting anywhere near her fuzzy head.

  10. The a/c man was obviously not educated in the ways of cats and didn't know that you have to be properly introduced before you can be permitted to touch. But, I bet your Mom and Dad were glad to see him, and to be sure that their a/c was working properly in this miserably hot summer we're having.

  11. Derry would be UTB, too, but Nicki might go for a head rub -- after he was properly introduced to the stranger, of course! It *was* a bit forward of that tech, Madi.

  12. He did WHAT!!! That's grounds for harassment! If you need a good lawyer, just let me know! It's HOT here, too. Fortunately, our air conditioners are working - though in our neck of the woods there's always a chance of power outages. Keep your paws crossed the power stays on!

    Your pal, Pip

  13. The nerve of that man, good thing you are out of the way this time.

  14. Now Madi, I can understand your reserve however, you're so darn cute do you really think we mere mortals can resist you?

  15. MOL....Mads, you are just too adorable!!!!!!! The only one of us that any "stranger" coming into our apartment will see is Andy.....he's our ambassador. Sammy and Shelly immediately hide, but Andy gets into it to snoopervise whatever the stranger is here to do!!!!!!

  16. He actually presumed to rub your head, without requesting permissions furst? The nerve!!

Butt, cut him some slack, Madi. This time if year, it is most important to keep friends with da A/C guy!

  17. Madi, you better be nice to that A/C guy. If you're not, he might just let you cook in the heat with no A/C!

  18. Glad you got the AC fixed.

The nerve of that guy Madi. Tell him to keepa his hands on the AC.

  19. Thank goodness for A/C, it is a life saver to be sure!!! Ours is VERY, VERY old and probably should have been replaced a few summers ago, but it continues chugging along and keeping us cool and I say a little prayer of thanks each day :-)

  20. We are glad the ac is working there. We are hoping that this one doesn't break down...it's running non stop because of the heat here. Lilly & Angel were hiding the last few days because of the guys working on the outside shed...they were not happy to have strangers in "their" house!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly

  21. The CHEEK of that man! We'd be hiding too...except for Grayce and The Baby...they are Hos.

  22. Oh Madi, I do hope if I ever meet you, you would allow me to rub your sweet head!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh Yikes! I would hides for a long time! Just to make sure! No one but my mom and my grandma gets to touch me!!

  24. Now Madi, is the hot weather making you a tad cranky?
You gotta be especially nice to the A/C workers,
You definitely want to stay on their good side when the weather
    is this HOT!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Madi, we don't like when strange worker guys come into our house either. Under the bed is the safest place to be until they leave.

    ReplyDelete
  26. You are right to be concerned Madi! Watch out!

    ReplyDelete
  27. How dare he even look at a Diva not to mention "touch" a Diva!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Whaaat! The a/c man had the nerve to touch your Diva head?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Silly AC mans...lucky he came away with his hand unscathed...:-). Good idea to watch from a distance this time Madi!
