Tuesday Tale

Now that Christmas company is gone I wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet in my sis's room but lo and behold that crazy lady, I call Mom, forgot to put Santa Claws and potential dinner Christmas mouse away.  They belonged to my human sis when she was a wee lass...so Mom puts them on her bed every Christmas.

I held a candlelight meeting with these two characters
I told them they could stay as long as they

kept a low profile and stay out of my way

potential dinner Christmas mouse decided  test the waters by interrupting my nap. He nearly became real dinner.

Santa Claws jumped into the middle of things by
putting potential dinner Christmas mouse in his place with a stern
look and a great big belly bump

Santa Claws is a jolly old soul and very easy to talk to so I decided
he could share my corner as long as he watched my back.

  1. Sweet Madi, we don't think you would hurt a flea, much less Mr. Chrismouse. Mebbe just a bunny-kick or two wouldn't hurt, though.

Pee Ess - Santa Claws is a good purrson to haf in your corner!

  3. Mmmm, he does look tasty doesn't he Madi. It looks like Santa Claws kept things under control and made sure Mousie behaved. Of course they both look like they would make good Diva pillows.

As long as they both know that you are the boss, everything will work out.

  9. I loved the candlelight meeting pic, Madi!
Mom is getting very clever with the flashy box!
Your ears are back in one pic, which must mean
you are barely tolerating this temporary invasion
    of Sis's toys! LOL
Chin scratches to you to calm your nerves
Hugs to Mom for the great pics!

  12. How Mom wishes she had kept more of those childhood memories from our human brother and sisters. She has some things but nothing cute like that mouse and Santa. Best to stay on the good side of Santa, Madi - you know he is always watching.
