BLOGVILLE SLED DAY

I'M READY FOR SLED DAY
I HAVE ON MY NEW TOBOGGAN
AND MY BEST FUR COAT.

I AM BEYOND THRILLED TO BE A PART OF
SARGE'S

Since this was my first time in the snow and on a sled, I
asked Sarge if I could (thanks Sarge for providing such a great ride) try a cafeteria tray first.
After a few trips down the kitty slopes, I felt confident enough to
hop on this Arctic Ice Breaker to do some serious sledding.
OMDS/OMCs you will never in a gazillion years guess how
COOOOOOOOOOL THIS RIDE WAS!!! MOL

ONE OF THE FORMER GRADUATE STUDENTS MOM WORKED WITH IS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF BLUE ICE.  HE SENT MOM THIS ABOVE PICTURE OF HIS TRIP
TO THE ARCTIC.  HE IS ON THE RIGHT USING A HAND DRILL TO GET CORE
ICE.

  5. Looks like you mastered the lunch tray very quickly Madi and moved up to the big time. Of course we would expect no less from our esteemed Mayor. That Arctic Icebreaker looks really big in the frozen north. Speaking of which, we hope you took a scarf and mittens, it looks really cold.

  8. I LOVE your sled tray Madi!!! But, but...that one photo of the Arctic makes me shiver. For the life of me, I would need more than parkas and kitty fur to keep me warm. A Hot toddy first, then, a hot bubble bath, then, layers and layers of fur. In fact, there isn't enough fur in the world to keep me warm in THAT environment.

  9. Your sled is pawsome Madi. You can whoosh down the slopes and have a snack attack at the same time. My kind of fun. Oh my, your friend is in a real cold place. Brrrrr st just the thought of it. Have a super Saturday.
    Best wishes Molly

  10. Great idea, Madi! You can load a lot of food on this tray and for a high-speed racing-tray you can remove something of the food via eating ;o) Oh noe I know why the curacao-cocktail is blue - it's from the blue ice ;o)

You look WONDERFUL on YOUR tray... and now that you are Mistress of the Snow Slopes... it is good that you GRADUATED to the Arctic Snows. What a cool pic that is.
