BAD POETRY

WE ARE GOING TO MAKE A VERY FEEBLE ATTEMPT AT
HAIKU POETRY FOR TODAY'S
BAD POETRY EVENT
Hosted by Ku, master of Kaiku and Oz

SUNPUDDLE
As the sun does shine
Across my floor

I see
Myself napping in the puddle

And find my furs burning
In the hot, sweltering heat of summer

Sincerely
Madi(son) D. Cat
(not) Poet Laureate

  8. Hmmm, I don't know if that qualifies as a haiku Madi...to me, it seems more like an Ode to a Sunpuddle. BOL Either way, it's pretty good! Thank you for entering our contest!!
