NEWS: BERTIE, CATS AND MOM

1. Bertie,  my Director of the Science of Tail Wagging,

and his assistant need help designing  a ‘hard hat’ for Bertie to wear on their forthcoming geological field trip to the Isle of Skye.
Below is a note from his Assistant

I am  going to ask folks to post suggested designs (using everyday materials) on their blogs and/or leave a comment on
click below link for details.
If any of the ideas are practical, I shall try to make the hat for Bertie and will post photos of him wearing it (giving due credit to the designer) when we go to Skye at the end of the month.
BERTIE DAD AND I HAVE AN IDEA
MOM IS WORKING ON IT.
2. HAPPY WORLD CAT DAY TO ALL
MY FELINE FURIENDS!!!

3. Mom asked my permission to take
a part time job.
I said ok/fine (in one breath followed by a huff) as long as my service doesn't suffer
I sat atop the table

She takes pictures of me from outside

While I watch her working in
our mushroom farm....

Oh my cats we cannot believer how many
of these beauties have sprouted.
It is easy work...she ohhhsss and ahhhs and
snaps pictures of them and me.

Last but not at all least as of about 3pm
Wednesday...our blog came out of the black hole it fell in on Monday and is now working fine.

  1. We think Bertie should use an upside down enamel bowl. Then he could use it for water and food, as well.

Love the mushies.....they aren't poisonous are they?

  4. The mushrooms are lovely! We can't believe how nice they look. The only ones we've grown are the ugly ones that pop up after lots of rain.

Have a happy Thursday and Happy World Cat Day, Madi. Nosebumpies and whisker kisses from your bestest mancat, Prancer Pie.

  16. Whew, so good to know you have returned from the black hole!!! Maybe Bertie could borrow a knight's helmet to wear. Thunder used to have one but MOm thinks the little bipeds may have borrowed it. Hope he has a lot of fun on the Isle of Skye.

We get those mushrooms here too with all the rain we have had. Mom is always running around pulling them up so SomePup doesn't eat them (just in case they are the poisonous ones.)

  24. Happy World Cats Days!
We are in the process of taking turns whipping our mama with wet noodles 'cause she forgots all about it. Nots to worry, no mama was injured during the process.

That is some mushroom garden. Do you have little elves living underneath?

We are glad your blogging woes are over but last night mama's internet connection got so slow she couldn't get comments to stick. Catching up now.

  33. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
