THIS MOMENT, {SEE BEAUTIFUL}

Today we are participating in
This Moment, See Beautiful
our hostess is
SUGAR.

Last week the peeps left me for
87 hours...this moment was not beautiful

They needed to get away so I said ok just be
sure to

SEE BEAUTIFUL

WHILE YOU ARE AWAY....

They went to visit friends in the foothills
of the most beautiful
Great Smoky Mountains in NC
and took a day trip to Virginia

From atop their friends deck they
surely saw beautiful things in their
garden.....
They have 5' high butterfly bushes
the swallowtails were everywhere
mom said she had never seen that many butterflies
in one place.  She guessed there
were at least 50 or more on the bushes
or fluttering around the bushes

Someone forgot the name of this beautiful
vine
Mom told me this was an elephant ear??!!

this is some kind of bean plant...
their friends planted to ward of
voles and moles...

They took a day trip to visit
Mabry Mill....they had lunch at the
cafe on site too

The mill is no longer in service
but the wheel still turns like it is
new

They topped of a purrfect day with a
visit to  Chateau Morrisette Winery

This beautiful chandelier was the first
thing they saw upon entering.
I half expected
Puddles
to be swinging from it. MOL MOL MOL
Hand painted wine barrel
The winery has a resident Black Lab.
All of the wine bottles have
a picture of him on the label

I heard through the grape vine (pun intended)
that mom tried her darndest to get this
lovely piece of antique furniture in her
purse...but she could not get the zipper
on her purse to close so she had to
leave the chest at the Winery.
They had many moments to SEE Beautiful

  3. Our mama says there are not many places as beautiful as the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding area. Your mom found lots and lots of beauty on her trip. The butterfly bush and the swallowtails are amazing.

Uh, Madi. We thinks your mom is teasing you about the elephant ears. Those don't look like the elephants we saw on Animal Planet. MOL!

Fantastic photos! Lots of beautiful to be seen. I love the shadow pic and the mill pic! We have some small mountains in our state, but I've never seen REAL mountains in person. Don't you worry about those elephant ears - they're great to hide under for shade!
