THIS MOMENT, SEE BEAUTIFUL

We are happy to join our Sweet Friend Sugar today
for the first This Moment, See Beautiful
Blog hop of 2014.  The definition of
Beautiful: having beauty

I use the word beautiful a lot.  However, over the last few
months I have been reminded of many beautiful things in my life.

Family is beautiful, good health is beautiful, friends
are beautiful.
Waking up each morning to a new day with new possibilities
in each moment of the day is beautiful.

I suspect by NOW you all know Madi fills our days
with beauty.  She marches to her own itty bitty kitty drum.
Usually she loves sleeping on as many layers a possible;
however, this week she has chosen to shun the nice fluffy
towels placed on each bed
Exhibit 1

Exhibit 2

This picture is especially beautiful.
The portrait is of my beautiful daughter age 11
and my beautiful  kitty age 11 years 10 months
Each moment of my son in law's hospitalization and  recuperation
my daughter has been full of beauty, grace and love
as she has been by his side every single step (literally)
of his recuperation.  He continues to make steady and
amazing progress.

This moment, See Beautiful is available for the
taking we just need to open our eyes and our hearts to find it
We would like to take this moment to say to
all our friends who gone on to the Rainbow Bridge, Run free. To those who have been struggling with sickness and scary surgeries our very best wishes to feel better soon.
Thank you for being our friends and putting up with
our nonsense over the years.  You are beautiful

I, Madi, thank you for sending the lovely soap to mom
now her hands won't be stinky when she rubs me.

  2. So much beauty in this post. It's good to know that things are going well over your way and BIL is recovering. Madi, moms will never understand why we sometimes need a change of pace with our sleeping habits. The soft stuff is nice but it's good to spread those furs around once in awhile. MOL!

  14. So thrilled to read that improvement continues and strength and happiness prevail! We are also thrilled you received the soap and bumper sticker! It was so sweet of Sugar and Rosalyn to want to send you all soaps! We had to get in on the action and make the surprise a bit sweeter with your own readable reminder to see beautiful every day - which you do so well. Happy seeing even more beautiful into 2014.

  35. It's so true Madi, seeing beautiful is a choice we make. I love the photos and was amused by those soft fluffy towels being ignored in preference to the pretty bedspreads.
