Flower Friday with Dory

Today I'm joining my long time gal pal Dory from

Happy Friday one and all...
Last week, when my peeps were on their mini
vacation, they visited the Louis Ginter Botanical Gardens in
Richmond, VA.  Louis Ginter (1824-1897) was a prominent businessman, Army officer and philanthropist.

You can read all about it here

Yesterday I was staring out the window...
then I decided to give mom a chance at an over the shoulder
stinky eye pose...luckily she was ready!!

Mom was all kinds of excited to visit the gardens.
Now she has 87 million photos for Flower Friday.
There was also beautiful butterfly and orchid houses.
Today we are sharing some orchids and moths.

The Atlas Moth is quite rare we expect he is kept in the tent for safety
since folks are walking around.

REMINDER NEXT FRIDAY IS

When I opened the box, I was startled to find...
You just use this sentence to be the subject of a story...and be
sure to include this phrase in the story.

  2. Great 'reverse twist stink eye'!

Those are beautiful flowers, but aren't they supposed to be from YOUR garden?

  3. Wow, what a moth! I bet he is tasty. Yeah, I know I am probably not supposed to say that.

  4. Oh wow, those flowers are gorgeous. And the moth looks huge but very beautiful. I don't suppose they would let a kitty sniff the moth? No? Never hurts to ask.

We love your over the shoulder photo Madi. Great stinky eye.

  16. There are now so many variants of orchids and they are really beautiful. It's so tempting to buy them (pretty common here) when Mommy sees them but she knows she'll most likely kill them within weeks.

Atlas moths are also very common here and we do find them around our homes sometimes. Sadly, we've also seen what's left of them on the ground after Stinky's had a go at them. :(

  24. That's a huge moth, I've seen a few as big but only up in Queensland and in the middle of summer.
I see your cats overestimate the amt of photos you take too.
