Easy like Sunday on Christmas Morn

Christmas morning, 1993, a tradition began in the family.
It was the first Christmas morning my Sis brought her (then boyfriend, later to be my BIL) to spend
Christmas day with us!!
Mom tried her bestest to think of something quick and good for breakfast.
She decided to make monkey bread...it was a huge hit.  Mom didn't know that
boyfriend/later BIL loved anything with cinnamon in it...and HE HAD never had
monkey bread. Mom has been making Monkey Bread every Christmas morning since then!!

Sissy and sweet BIL gave my peeps a set of matching coffee mugs
from MJ Wilkinson Pottery.

Cats on the Job is mom's early birthday gift she'll be older than petrified dirt in January
What a fun book full of stories about Mom's favorite subject C A T S

Did you know they make coloring books for adults now?
Yes they do and this is what was on mom's Christmas wish list that she sent to Sis!
Mom has been so inspired by Ms. Lynne blog Sketching with Dogs,
Mom can't draw a straight line with a ruler BUT
she HAS always been a huge coloring fan. Creative Cats book was a big hit!!

Dad sent Sis a very simple but necessary wish list...new COLORFUL socks with
steel toes.  Lo and behold they don't make socks with steel toes but they do have reinforced toes!!
Bingo sis did a great job!!

Dad told me to tell you HE keeps his nails very very short, no clue why they get holes other  than the peeps do a lot of walking every day

After 'hissy' Sissy and sweet BIL left to visit his family, I was once again reigning DIVA
of the house.  I ran right up to their room to leave them a present on  their bed, my furs!
Dang it!!! Mom forgot to tell me they were not coming back here today!
Sometimes it doesn't pay to wait to give the gift that keeps on giving.
Next time they come I'll give them a double dose of furs.

Santa and Chrissie-mouse belonged to my Sissy when she was a wee girl.

HAPPY EASY SUNDAY TO YOU ALL

Monday, Tuesday and Friday of next week will be show and tell on some very special gifts I received!!
