Monday Madi Mews

This diva is absolutely pleased as plum punch at how much fun everybuddy had at the Pawlympics.  The Wrap up pawty at Dory's was ......well just let me say what happened there stays there. There could have been twerking, nipitinis and margaritas involved...just saying'
GREAT BIG HUGE KITTY KISSES TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!!

KUDOS AND WELL DONE!!!

Mom is slowly adding knick knacks and family collectibles to her new cabinet.
Most of the glassware belonged to my Dad's Mom.
I must admit to being just a tad freaked out the first time I noticed the stuff at my eye level.
I don't know what I thought it was but good grief did I slink up to it with caution.
Of course there was no camera to capture the event.

TODAY  we have odds and ends and touch ups scheduled which should
finish up our Construction saga. Main one being some painting in my
blog office.  We might be off line for a few hours this morning.

  3. oh that's a treasure cabinet... I like this time, when things go back to their place or to a new place... placing the treasures is a sign that the construction/remodel time is over soon ... yay!

  4. It's not fair to have things on a shelf at Madi height that you can't touch and sniff!

  10. everything looks really pretty in the new cabinet and I am sure if someone forgets to close the door there is room for a gray and white cat in there. MOL... I guess it would be freaky to see glass goblets at your eye level... ask mom if the new cabinet is built in or can it be moved? I remember it being built but not that

  11. Wonderful to see the glassware in the new cabinet! With the white background they really stand out.
I bet y'all will be so happy no more "intruders" going through your house & Mom worrying about them leaving a door open so you can escape!
Here's to a happy, calmer normal!

  17. Where's all your medals and trophies? Seems the case is at your level, your stuff should be in there, too. But then again, if that beautiful case was at our house, we'd try to get into it every day and if nothing else, our nose prints would be all over that glass in a heartbeat!

  18. The cabinet looks beautiful, Madi, and it's right next to your food and water so you have something pretty to look at while you chew!

  19. That is a lovely cabinet, and such a nice way to showcase treasures and mementoes. I can understand being unnerved at seeing all those things down low like that. I bet you and Mom will be glad to have all the construction work done. Things sure do look nice!

Your cabinet looks fantastic. SHE's starting to get rid of anything that needs to be dusted! At least IN the cabinet, you don't have to do it as much...MOL!

  25. The Pawlympics were awesome and big kudos to all the organizers and event hosts. We can totally see how those new items at eye level would need extra scrutiny.
