Today's word is SEA.
What a great word for the Swimming event.
My human SIS and BIL live on the beautiful coast of North Carolina so boy do we have  photos of the sea.  Here is a small collage.
Be sure to look closely at the photo on the top left.  Talk about being at the right place at the right time.  Mom captured this wild photo of a sea shell with bubble eyes.

gentle hands and loving whispers and full tummies.
Home is where we 3 seniors live in peace normally and harmony

TuesdayTile Tale

Oliver tile guy  had to take the door down last Friday to lay the tile.    Before he left, mom asked him if he could put it up?

He said no because he could not stand on freshly mudded tiles to rehang the door.  Mom said well we have a cat. Oliver seems like a nice enough guy and he didn't smell too bad....BUTT evidently he knows NUTTIN' absolutely NUTTIN. about cats.   He said oh, no worries she isn't heavy enough to disturb the tiles if she walks on them.   Mom told him she was concerned about all the debris in the tub from demo etc.  and the pieces of trash on the floor.  Because she knew I'd be in there lickety split sniffing stuff.  Oliver said oh ok I can lay the door on it's side across the opening.   Picture this in your mind's eye, a 3' wide door on its side to keep Moi out of a 7' tall opening.

Mom about cracked up.   She told Oliver my cat could jump that blindfolded.  He seemed a tad surprised.  He ended up standing door against the frame.
Purrsonally I think in his mind he was quite impressed with my potential jumping abilities.

Mom knew I wouldn't eat anything but she also knew  me and my sniffer would be in there in a flash smelling things..  She was worried I'd  inhale trash.

After it was all said and done I told mom I was a tad insulted I  NEVER INHALE!!!

Oh this is the floor behind the door.  There is no potty in there or a vanity..just a tub and the walls have to be painted.  Hopefully sometime this week.  We like the way Oliver laid the tiles too.

5 Ms

Welcome one and all to Monday, Madi, Mom, Mirrors and Mess

On my Saturday post I mentioned the treasures I found when mom let me out
of jail during the time the demo guys went to lunch.
Let me just say the pee mail and feet mail and over all smells on this canvas nearly sent this Diva's senses in to over load.

Not only did the paparazzi follow me but there was a Madi wanna be following me too
I finally told her to talk to the tail the head was busy

Side note:  Mom said she was glad this mirror was not one of those fun house mirrors
that make you look like a 5000 HIP O POT A MUS!!!
ohhhhh I just love this splash of red paint on my sunpuddle
The smells were so A M A Z I N G I walked around them several times.

After a thorough investigation,  I happily went back to my jail where I proceeded to
lick my my paws and then rub the wet paws behind my ears to distribute all the
smells.  You K9's might not be familiar with this but my Feline friends will understand.
Often after a delish meal, a kitty will do this too.
Oh and before you ask that black pail is what they put the toilet in after they disconnect it.
Can you say Y U M M Y?
