Thoroughly Poetic Thursday:E

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday with Angel Sammy

This will be a poem to tell you how we came to blog
Today's post is brought to you by the letter

E
Eyes
by Madison D Cat

Last week during the deep freeze my eyes
I gazed in  disbelief while visiting my loo
My green eyes

turned blue!!

The view from my once lovely loo

had no leaves, no birds that my eyes could see.

My sunpuddle had turned to ice
Which made me think twice
Do I really want to use a loo with no view?!

THE END!!!!
I heard all those collective sighs of relief!!

PS:  I'm taking a poll should I ask mom to by me some blue contacts?

  5. Shall I be honest with you Madi? Those blue eyes look just a wee bit weird. Unnatural even. I am thinking you should stick with the green.
However I am totally with you on the 'loos with views' thing.

  10. Madi, I would stay with your fabulous emerald eyes.... The mama once bugged her pawrents to death for getting colored contacts. they were eggs-pensive in that 90's, of course it was in last century.... she ordered green contacts, not the wonderful green what cats have, just the boring human-green. as she got the contacts she looked so odd that even her parents agreed with disposing them, because the mama looked like a walking nightmare. and those who think the mama learnt her lesson are wrong, because 6 months later she ordered blue contacts what looked awful too...oh my!

  16. You could start a new fashion, Madi - green eyes one day and blue the next:)

We have a forecast of ice for the weekend. We sure hope not because that won't make it much fun to do yard zoomies!!!

  22. Well, you could always ask her to buy you blue contacts, and when she says "no", as moms normally do, you could compromise and just get one. Then you'd be bi-eyed like me! How cool would that be?!?!
    Yours sincerely,
