Flower Friday and Fill ins

Happy Flower Friday

While the peeps were away visiting friends last week,
Mom took these photos of flowers that were looking quite pretty

The pretty pink blooms of the Rose of Sharon on the right reminded us of Angel Dory's signature
PINK

And here are The Friendly Fill-Ins for Friday. Phoebe's Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.
Madi in Red
Mom in Blue

1. MOM:As a child, my favorite playground activity was probably talking or swings.  I don't really remember but I do remember getting in trouble for talking ALL THE TIME.  I say if you are good at something you should do it all the time!! I'm a good talker

MADI:As a kitten, my favorite activity was CLIMBING on any and everything in the house

2. For breakfast, I have
MOM:Cheerios with a banana.
MADI:About 1/2 can of wet food and my kibble is replenished if I ate it all overnight.

3.
An instrument I would like to play is
MOMguitar.
MADI: I don't have thumbs so I'm limited on instruments but I sure wish I knew how to open the Pantry!!
I'm told Milky-way the first family cat was very long and could stand on his hind legs to open the doors by wrapping his paws around the doorknob!! :::::sighing heavily::::::

4.
MOM: I always try to be kind and have a positive attitude, because I enjoy being around folks who are kind and are positive.
MADI: I always try to behave at night because when you wake up a sleeping giant mom things can get real interesting.

  3. yes, it fits pawfectly to the beloved pink flower girl ;o) ...amazing that so much people loved the swings... even when it was the reason for scratched knees and arms when a daydream there ended with a hard landing ;o)

  7. Beautiful flowers. There are no giants around our house Madi. Just a Ogre with a very bad attitude if she gets woken up.

    Happy weekend.

  13. Beautiful flowers - and we love the answers to the fill=ins! Our great-sister Stormy used to always say, "A smile and a positive attitude make up for a lot of shortcomings." She was very smart.

  20. I haven't heard of Rose of Sharon for YEARS ... it brings back good memories. Bear doesn't play instruments ... but he has quite a voice when he feels like it - and he's awfully good at banging around if he's ignored :) It took me SIX MONTHS to realize that when he banged his paw back and forth between the furniture and the wall - it wasn't to try to get the cords out - it was to wake me up and get me out of bed so I could pet him or feed him.

  21. Beautiful flowers. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Make sure you add your linky at McGuffy's Reader so everyone will visit. Sorry you can't open the pantry door Madi, that would be an impressive trick. Sammy can turn the knob on the bathroom door and make noise, but can't quite get it open- it does startle guests though when he does that. :) Have a nice weekend!

  22. We are still waiting for our Rose of Sharon trees to bloom. They may also have been trimmed at the wrong time:)

Mom was definitely a swing lover. And your Mom is great, she always looks for the good side of people and things.

  28. I don't think I talked very much when I was young, but as I got older... The only time I ever got told off for talking (and laughing), I was about 20 and it was at work. But I agree with you: if you're good at something, you should do it all the time!
