Friday Favorites

Madi has lived with us for 8 3/4 years. Every month or so she becomes fixated she probably should be medicated with certain places in the house to sleep She has basically ignored this couch for months. Now all of a sudden it is the best thing since catnip was invented!!  She will only sit on the middle cushion!! The couch is very closed to the TV and I often find her watching it. I think she has secretly become addicted to TV. 

Mom says to tell everyone thank you for asking.  She is feeling better. She is not eating at her normal pace oink oink but that is ok at least she has both feet in the land of the living.  Dad is still well so we are pretty sure it was food poisoning and from what we hear it takes some time to work its way out of your system.

PS Mom thanks everyone for the get well wishes.  She has one foot in the land of the living and one on the fence of the living dead....BUT she feels better.

DAD'S STORY AND HE IS STICKIN' TO IT

 AT LEAST IT WAS A GOOD MORNING UNTIL

MOM CAME HOME WITH THESE NEW BALANCE

OH MY CATS AND DOGS WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?

DAD SAID ONCE SHE SAW THEM IT TOOK HER AN HOUR TO DECIDE  WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. HE SAID IT WAS GRUELING HIS PLEASURE TO BE BY HER SIDE THE ENTIRE HOUR.  DAD TOLD ME THE NICE YOUNG MAN HELPING THEM SAID, 'THAT WAS PAINLESS'.

DAD SAID NOT FOR ME.

I TOLD DAD NEXT TIME HE SHOULD 'JUST SAY NO'

TO ANY EXCURSIONS WITH MOM!!!
MOM ALREADY TOOK A WALK IN THEM SHE SAYS THEY ARE THE CAT'S MEOW...I SAY NO SELF RESPECTING CAT WOULD BE CAUGHT IN THEM.

MOM IS EITHER HAS  A TOUCH OF FOOD POISONING OR A TUMMY VIRUS..WE WILL NOT BE VISITING TOO MUCH TODAY.
SHE IS BETTER THAN LAST NIGHT BUT STILL KIND OF WEAK.

Well # 2 is not as easy peasy as I thought.  Thanks to Mom my life is an open blog.

1.  I was born in Cary, NC...or as we like to call it here in Raleigh

Concentrated Aera of Relocated Yankees.  I apologize to my friends to the north I did not make this up...I'm just repeating it.

2.  My feet have not touched the ground/dirt since I was 2 months old....can you say DIVA

3.  Some of the names mom and Dad were thinking they might name me were Maggie Mae, Grace, Cinder and Ashley (because I'm gray), Clooney (after the first vet who examined me). 

4. My real name is Madison.  My nicknames are Madi, Diva, Mads, Madster (Dad calls me that), Puddin' Head, Poodle face (no clue where that comes from or why), Baby Girl, and Sweet thing.

5. I had one sister who was in the cage with me she was a calico....mom says my mom must have been a harlot 'free spirit'.

6. I had one freckle on my nose when I was itty bitty now I have two.  Mom says freckles are where an angels have kissed me. See why I put up with Mom's quirks...she says the nicest things....

7. I, MADISON, AM NOT SPOILED AT ALL...MOM IS A SLACKER AND I MUST SOMETIMES SHOW MY TUSH TO GET MY POINT ACROSS.
