MY HANDSOME DUTCH BEAU....

 KARELJTE

He is a most handsome mancat who lives in The Netherlands....

and he has won my heart.   Mom and I met Kareltje and his Mom about two years ago.

   

 He has been sending me sweet messages via his blog.  Lo and behold on Monday I received smell mail in

a very pretty card...look he even found a kitty sticker that looks like me to put on the front of the envelope.  Not only is he handsome he has a very nice paw writing.....

 As soon as Mom opened the card, I began to sniff. I

knew immediately that this was a very special piece of

smell mail....it was Kareltje's most handsome orange and

white furs...and the fragrance was so manly...

 I had to stop for just a moment to take a deep breath.

Notice how I not only smelled the furs, I opened my

mouth so that I could send them to my Jacobson Organ*
(aka  Vomeronasal Organ) in the roof of my mouth that helps me identify new fragrances...

Oh my stars Karletje left me a most personal smell message

right here.....but it is just for my nose because a lady cat never

smells and tells. 

 OMC/OMD I thought I was going to faint when Mom

read Kareltje's card...in case you cannot read it..

it begins "Sweet Madi my sweetheart....."

He goes onto say Dutch cats smell yummie" and

girlfriends, he is one fine smelling Dutch mancat.

 I became so overwhelmed with this mancat scent,

Mom suggested I take a smell break.

If you look closely at the next picture, you will see that my

lady cat tail is very happy it is swaying back and forth so fast

it is a blur. 

 I have a message for you Kareltje for the world to hear.

Your whiskers are neat

Your manly Dutch smell most sweet,
If I were to name it, I'd call it

"UNIQUE"

A GOLDEN GOODBYE

 

ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2011, RAIDER WAS OUT

DOING WHAT HE LOVED MOST WALKING WITH HIS PEEPS,  WITH THE WIND BLOWING HIS BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN FURS..WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN HE COLLAPSED

HIS MOM AND DAD TRIED TO GET HIM UP.  UNFORTUNATELY, IN JUST SECONDS THIS BEAUTIFUL PRECIOUS GOLDEN BOY WAS GONE...AT 9 1/2 YEARS OF AGE.  THEY THINK HE MIGHT HAVE HAD A STROKE OR HEART ATTACK. 

LAST MONDAY WHEN  I POSTED ABOUT MY HANDSOME GOLDEN BEAU SENDING ME SOME SMELL MAIL

I NEVER EVER THOUGHT I'D BE POSTING ABOUT HIS UNTIMELY PASSING THIS MONDAY.

IRONICALLY, ON SATURDAY, RAIDER AND HIS PEEPS ARRIVED BACK IN THEIR HOME STATE OF CALIFORNIA.  RAIDER WAS A CALIFORNIA BOY THROUGH AND THROUGH....HE IS  HOME

THE BELOW PICTURE SAYS IT ALL...RUN FREE SWEET, PRECIOUS RAIDER

MOM AND DAD MET RAIDER IN MAY OF 2010...THEY TOLD ME HE WAS THE SWEETEST PUPPY AND IN TRUE GOLDEN NATURE HE WAS THRILLED TO MEET THEM.

HIS ENTIRE BODY WAGGED WITH HIS TAIL!!

RAIDER WILL BE MISSED BY HIS MOM AND DAD AND ALL HIS FRIENDS ALL OVER NORTH AMERICA. 

MUTUAL LOVE AND ADMIRATION WAS SEEN IN ALL THREE SETS OF EYES.
