Today I am joining my gal pal Dory Flower Friday and I thank her Bro, Jakey, for teaching mom how to use Pizap. These pictures
were taken at my peeps friend's house last week.

I think I see an itty bitty anty |
|
Their butterfly bush just started to bloom while my peeps were visiting |
|
They have at least 87 Ruby-throat hummingbirds. Ms. Sally had to fill up the feeder several times |
I saved the funniest story for last!! During the visit everyone was sitting in the sun room.
They were talking to Mr. Gary about his grape vineyard (in the background). All of a sudden when Mr. Gary took a breath, I'm told, mom stood up hollering WHAT IS THAT?
Ms. Sally said Mom looked like a K9 Pointer.
Mr. Gary said oh that is a *ground hog. OMGHs mom squealed I have never seen one in the furs!! They have a gazillion up there.
Since mom didn't have her camera we are have a re-enactment.
Evidently they don't normally show up in the middle of the day. He was actually heading down the hill to his burrow. She couldn't find a photo of one turned that way
*The groundhog, or woodchuck, is one of 14 species of marmots. These rodents live a feast-or-famine lifestyle and gorge themselves all summer to build up plentiful reserves of fat. After the first frost, they retreat to their underground burrows and snooze until spring, drawing their sustenance from body fat. While hibernating, the animal's heart rate plunges, and its body temperature is not much warmer than the temperature inside its burrow.
