First of all a round of aPAWs for the gorgeous photo of the leaves and blue sky!!
Dad took this on 11/10/17. He rarely takes photos but he does have a very artsy eye for what makes a good photo!!
**********************************
Secondly...mom came into the master bath on 11/11/17...she saw me HERE!!
You will not believe what she asked me, I quote
"Madi are you a K9"?
I replied ignored her, "What is the big deal, I'm all huddle in front of the heating vent."
Well the answer is this is a new habit of mine.
Evidently the only family pet to ever do this was Toto the might mini Dachshund
She says Milky-Way the feline BM (Before Madi) never did this.
I reminded her that she is in uncharted waters with me.
I'm the oldest kitty to live here E V E R! Not to mention this is a might plush and comfy
rug. If I'm to be truthful, I have acquired some new habits of late. Not sure why but
it is fun to blow the mind mind of mom every so often?
I recently spent way too much time in solitary confinement in the pantry.
There are NO photos...but there was lots of audio. Just sayin'
It is always a good idea to keep those pawrents on their toesies!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
PeeEss..Mama ooo-ed and aaaww-ed over the picture of the fall leaves against the blue sky! So very purdy!
We can imagine the audio! That looks like the pawfect place. Can't believe Milky-Way didn't discover it.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine any kitty that wouldn't want to lie near a heat vent!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, why wouldn't one want to lie near a heat vent?
ReplyDeleteAt least that is the perspective from always chilly Scotland!
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Tell Dad well done, that is a lovely photo.
Hari OM
ReplyDeleteAll lovely shots - any with you in it just can't fail, right? As to changing up the habits... go fur it gal! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
That's an excellent photo. Madi, you must keep your people guessing... Doing unexpected things is essential.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a heat vent like yours in my bathroom, Madi! You are one smart girl!
ReplyDeleteLove the autumn leaves!
That is one terrific photo of the leaves etc. Madi, a lot of us that live sometimes sit on the vents to get warm. It is the smart thing to do to get warm and the main kitty that sits on the vent is a little older like you. So just ignore OGM. Have a great day,
ReplyDeletePhod would like to join you there.
ReplyDeleteWere you in the pantry singing to the cat food cans Madi?
ReplyDeleteLove Dad's photo's.
That does look like a warm comfy place to hang out. We wish we could see some of that blue sky around here once in a while so thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWarm makes for a darn good happy pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteOH NO on the pantry episode??? I think you are getting smarter and smarter and that warm air feels good on the furs.... bob had a cat before he got ME and that cat thought he was a dog.
ReplyDeletedad's tree is gorgeous
ReplyDeleteYou are just smart enough to pick a warm spot! You are probably the smartest cat ever! Most of our trees are bare. Love the multi color leaves!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Well, if Misty can enjoy napping in front of the washer and dryer, then we think you can sleep in front of the heat vent too. Bet it keeps you toasty warm.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo from Dad!!!
Now exactly why were you in solitary confinement in the pantry - sounds like a great place to find food!!!
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Maybe you are pretending it is a fireplace without the fear of flying sparks?! Stay toasty warm, Madi.
ReplyDeleteClapping hands together for your Dad, Madi... a very festive fall picture. I am a tree hugger. I LOVE those vents in front of sinks, we have one in front of the kitchen sink. Smart girl, Madi! Too, too funny about the pantry.
ReplyDeleteMadi, I suggest that you pad up to your hoomins and give them a bat with your paw! Asking if you are a dog...what the hey?
ReplyDeleteHeat vents are great this time of year! I have been known to lay by ours
ReplyDeletehugs

ReplyDeleteHey ... whatever works! Even Momma crowds the heat vents around here! I love the "late-blooming" habits. Kitty started mousing when she was 9. And I remember one night when she was 14 or 15 - she chased a cricket bounding over furniture and off walls. I LOVE seeing our kitties do their own thing and be their glorious selves. We might not understand what changed and prompted their new habits - but we love them!
ReplyDeleteJoey dog used to sleep on the little rug by the heating vent in the bathroom all the time. It was the warmest place in the house.
ReplyDeleteHee! Hee! Queen Penelope used to lay right on top of the heat vents. That girl could never be too warm. Keep up the good work at expanding your Mom's ideas of what cats do!
ReplyDeletePurrs
Marv
Glad you are keeping warm. XO
ReplyDeleteMadi, me too! Every DAY!
ReplyDeleteI say, you gots to keep the peeps mind BLOWN! I do it everyday gurl! I am a very HOT (and HAWT) dog, so I don't needs the heating vent, butts I can see why that rug would be attractive! I do likes a good cushy rug! BOL/MOL!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Keep 'em guessing Madi - change up those habits from time to time - it's good to make them THINK!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
