Today's Caturday Art  is purely random ...inspired by an art effect in Lunapic

Buddies the Doodz and Van Gogh the stuffed monkey who shares their life.
Named appropriately after the artist Van Gogh because some puppy might have chewed them off.

Sugar: This Moment, See Beautiful

Today is the 2nd Friday of April and for more years than we can remember we have celebrated This Moment, See Beautiful with Sugar.

We thank Oz and Mama Gina for the beautiful button

Today is the first TM,SB without Sugar we would like to

share a few golden memories we have of Sugar.

When Sugar passed on March 16, 2017, we all lost a beloved

Golden Friend.  Sugar today I would like to say

{Every moment} we came by your blog or read the

precious comments you left on our blog, we saw Beautiful

Today I'd like to share some of the fun events and contests I remember about Sugar 

Sugar was very active in Blogville.  She often had contests

Sugar and her peeps were planning to move from the Windy city of Chicago in 2012.  Everyone tried to guess where they were moving.  

Have you heard the breaking news
Sugar the Golden Retriever is moving.  
We all know Sugar believes each moment should be  full of
Golden fun so of course she is turning her move into a 
guessing game.

Ok I'll let the cat out of the bag...it came from our 

beautiful State of Hawaii which is where Sugar and her peeps are now living.  Mom loves the beautiful lavender print tote

 OH MY CATS/OH MY DOGS SUGAR SENT ME

A COPY OF HER BOOK.  IT IS SO FUNNY!!! 

SUGAR DISCOVERS A CHIPMUNK IN HER YARD

AND THEY BECOME BFFs

Sugar has the sweetest smile

 Sugar's assistant made me a tag with my picture on it

I rarely look at myself so this is a very special treat

 and a very pretty post card with Sugar's name written in golden sand. Mom and I are pawticipants in Sugar's 2nd Friday of every month 

This Moment: See Beautiful now I have a tag to prove it

In July 2012 Sugar pawticipated in my Gymnastic event

for the Pawlympics....her mom sent me this photo

for the event. This is how I will remember Sugar.

She was a Golden Beach girl who loved sand and surf.

She lived life to the fullest and gave 150% to everything she did.

When I see Sugar Smile....

The sun shines twice as bright and my sun puddles

are twice as warm

 it gives me inner peace and tranquility...

I remember how she shares a very positive and uplifting message or a 

DELICIOUS Golden meal her mom has prepared for her.  

You know I'm all about food and eating

When I see Sugar's Golden smile, it reminds me how Sugar 

has been teaching us all.....that

THIS Moment, we should  SEE Beautiful

In May of 2016 Sugar's mom hosted a contest to color Sugar.  Mom had just started adult coloring and was going pretty slow at it but she finally finished.

Sugar was know for her Golden smile and her

purple slippers.  Mom finished up coloring Sugar's

picture by using her signature purple

Run free my sweet Sugar...thank you for your friendship,

for sharing your travels with me and 

until we meet again run free and without pain.

You made so many people smile and that is truly a gift.

Tuesday Tale aka All a buzzzzz

Way back in the mid 80's my sis had a 
Second and Last date with her friend's cousin.
When mom told me about it I fell on the floor
MOLing I almost choked on kitty slobber.

Evidently they were going bowling. Mom said my sis was upstairs getting ready.  When she heard the car pull into the driveway, she looked out the window. As the story goes sis bellowed MA HELP...tell him I'm not here.  He looks like a Bumblebee.  He has on a yellow shirt with black trim,  black shorts and yellow and black striped tube socks.  I'm not going out with a Bumblebee.

Mom told me she was biting her tongue as she answered the door in order to keep

from laughing.

Mom here: this is the absolute gospel truth.
It was the most atrocious outfit I've ever seen.  I cannot in my 

wildest dreams imagine why any 18 year old young man would even think to wear it. They were supposed to go bowling then out for pizza.  After bowling, my daughter told him she didn't feel well.  He  brought her home.

When we switch over to DST, the sun comes in the side window in the morning.  I often have to remind mom to raise the shades. It can be a 'pane' to find the best pane to sit it though.
