Monday is my Sissy's bday.  Today my peeps are meeting Sissy and BIL for Sissy's bday lunch 1/2 between our house and theirs.  We might be MIA

Next up is our Blogville Picnic...I think this might be our first official picnic too!!

There will be games, a food truck, fun activities and a Dance Hosted by Mayor Arty and

the Marvelously gorgeous Mabel.  

Rest assured Mabel will be dressed to the 9's and Arty will be twirling her all over the dance floor.

I, Madison D. Cat will be hosting a very fun event:

Blanket Volleyball OMCs this should be fun

• Objective: To pass the ball over the net in pairs using towels or blankets to propel the ball.
• Towels or blankets for each pair. Net. ...
• Divide the players into two equal teams. ...
• You may use beach balls or volleyballs

When Mom lost her key, 

I said don't look at me.

She looked high, she looked low.

She looked in the box of things that are cold.

I suggested maybe the king 

of our domain was to blame.
She said Madi you are insane!

She grabbed the handle on the  bag

carrying her kindle* threw me a kiss.

She was not one bit remiss 

No worries said she.

Thankful Thursday hosted by

 I'm thankful to Brian and his sibs for hosting thankful Thursday.  We all need

to stop every so often and remember what blessings we have.

I Madi and very Thankful it is not 2 weeks ago because I was feeling very poorly and not eating.  Mom and Dad are purrty sure I have gained at least a 1 or a 1 1/2 pounds.

We three are thankful for each day we have together too!!

I'm also thankful for receiving the very coveted

WHY?! Because I earned it, if you earn something you should be thankful

I was not first commenter and I didn't have a clue where the photo wast taken.

Wordy Wednesday: I'm feeling Frisky

I was doing some meal prep...Madi was worried I would forget to feed her

so she plopped right in the middle of the floor

FYI: I have never forgotten to feed Miss Piggy

For the record Madi gets several small meals of canned food a day
*Usually an entire can by the end of the day.  She always has a full bowl of dry food.
It makes me so happy to see her enjoying her food. Tomorrow (Thursday) will be 2 weeks  since she was hardly eating at all.  Her little pudgy sides make me happy too.
I'd love to know how much she weighs but we don't keep scales in the house....right now I wish we had one. LOL

Now for a few new things Madi has been doing since she got her new lease on life....

1.  She loves sardines and is quite put out with me for waiting 15 years to add them to her

diet.

2.  Not only does she have a new lease on life she thinks she is a kitten/baby she gets several small meals during the day*, averaging every couple of hours.  Thankfully she lets me know with a wee

Mew that she might like a mini meal.  I am her purrsonal 24 hour 7 day a week Chef

I am 100% sure when Madi looks at me she sees me as a walking bag of

Rachel Ray Nutrish and a can of  Fancy Feast

3. She is jumping up and down and all around as shown here last week.
4. Since her new lease on life, she has new places she likes to sleep at night, pictured below.
No clue why the has abandoned the 3 beds, numerous chairs and couches for these new spots.
Except maybe she can has a clear view to the bedroom which lets her know when we are up.
If she comes in the bedroom is is quietly and thus far no attacking of toes or marching on bladders.
5.  Subcutaneous treatments are not her favorite activity but she is a wee bit more tolerant.  The desired dose every other day is 100ml.   Currently we (mom and dad) out weigh Madi. We usually get at least 50ml in her before she becomes squirmy.  However, we have also managed to get all 100ml in her several times.
6. She sleeps more soundly now at night; however, in very odd places:

Madi's Dad and I are proud to be at her service anytime she needs us.

Tuesday Tail...Tale & Mystery Mail

I was caught lounging w/o my tail wrapped around my body...

Our solar eclipse experience.  We didn't have glasses but we did watch the event as it traveled across the country.  About 2:40 or 2:45 pm, all of a sudden I noticed how dark it was in the house even though the sun was shining.  At about 3:00 pm normal natural light returned in  the house.
As for Madi it didn't bother her one bit.

OMCs I rec'd a mystery package on the afternoon just after the Solar Eclipse passed
over Madi Manor.  It had a very strange return addy on it and at least 87 stamps.
See below!!??!!

I'm thinking maybe there were some alien beings flying over my house and this fell out of their Eclipse Ship.

Well I bellowed to the one with thumbs, aka TOGM to come quickly to help me open it.
There was the wee box inside this big box

Thank goodness for the one with thumbs aka TOGM who was able to open the wee box.
OMCs there was an itty bitty kitty living in the wee box

I sniffed the itty bitty box

 I sniffed all 87 stamps

 Then I sniffed the itty bitty kitty's tush hoping to find a familiar scent
perhaps from someone I might know.

There was nuttin' in the big box or the itty bitty box to tell me...who GUESS WHO might be.  However, after careful inspection I noticed there were 87 very subtle clues.  I would like to say 87 thank yous to GUESS WHO!!!
