3 boxes full of bows...it makes my head spin with glee too!!

PS the rumor mill says TOGM and Dad might actually put the Christmas tree up today.
If so, they will surely need snoopervision.

My Christmas Gifts from Hailey

Wednesday, November 29th, I rec'd this package

It was addressed to the moi aka Diva aka itty bitty kitty of the house Madi

 And there was a note inside from my gal pal Canada's own Princess Hailey

(Prince Phod, Lady and the Man)

I could smell the delicious goodness even before mom opened the package

Then she asked me the craziest question!

This senior diva is always read to eat nowadays

Wellness Kittles some in 3 yummy flavors, chicken and cranberries,  salmon and cranberries .

I chowed down on the Tuna and Cranberries with gusto and glee

 You know the way to a gal's heart is thru her hungry tummy.

Thank you very much.  I'm ready for a long cold winter.

My vet visit yesterday went very well. Dr. S was very pleased with how well I looked and my shiny coat and bright eyes.  I am maintaining my weight BUT I have only gained an ounce. MOL I've been trying to tell mom I'm all fluff.  I almost weight 7 lbs.  BUT I'm not losing any either.  They stole my blood for a senior blood panel. Results from that will come in sometime later today.  We'll keep you posted on the results.

zoo, zing, zipper and zap

In the zoo there is lots of poo.

The keepers are quick zap

it with a shovel or a 10' pole.

Sometimes they sing all the day long.

Their zing for their work is obvious.
Their friends and family threaten to get 
a zipper for their mouth. 

Since you have been so very attentive and complimentary our our
poems, we leave you on this Z day with
a cute little critter from the Munich Zoo.

Pallas Cat!!  not Palace Cat mol mol 

The Pallas's cat (Otocolobus manul), also called manul, is a small wild cat with a broad but fragmented distribution in the grasslands and montane steppes of Central Asia. It is negatively affected by habitat degradation, prey base decline, and hunting, and has therefore been classified as Near Threatened by IUCN since 2002.^[1]

The Pallas's cat was named after the German naturalist Peter Simon Pallas, who first described the cat in 1776 under the binomial Felis manul.^[2]

OMCs, if I was a fighter not a lover, I could probably take this critter down.  It only weighs between 5.5 and 9.9 lbs.  I could squash it by sitting on it.

Today is the last day of letter inspired Poetry.

Starting next week our challenge, should we decide to accept it...is to find a photo of our own or anywhere that inspires us to write a poem.  Guess what we two seniors love a 

CHALLENGE!! We accept

Today I have my 6 month Senior Check up at 3 PM
Mom is really interested to see how much weight I have gained since
all this mess started in June.  We expect there will also be
some blood letting to check my kidney values.
As always, we'll give you the news fair and unbiased.

Tuesday Tale: A few of my Favorite things

Sun beams on kittens

windows with perches
to watch fine feather finches

Moms who have cameras 

to catch me in my favorite things.
These are a few of my favorite things.

Kitties on cat stumps wearing antlers
Leaves dancing with all of the sugarplum fairies
Cat stumps that are just the right height
to give a kitty a mighty sight
or a place to nap all tucked in tight.

Mr. K our neighbor was using his out of doors sucky monster to gobble up all the leaves
in his drive way.

These are a few of favorite things.

PS mom is still dealing with the creeping crud.  She finally went to the doctor late yesterday.

She has fluid behind both eardrums and is on an antibiotic.

  We'll catch up with you today I hope.

Monday Madi Mews

Just to keep you all in the loooooooop of how I'm doing.

I'm eating and sleeping all over the place and jumping on the 

table during meals when I smell Mom's  delicious cornbread cause I know she'll give me some.

Yes I heard your gasp.  Seems when you are senior Diva who

knows just how to strike a royal pose (see below) you get away with 

Murder at Madi Manor.

Easy Sunday

One sleepy headed kitty with her easy on!

I thought I'd show you a photo of my one of our Christmas Window candle.  This one is in Sis and BIL's room.
I like to sit here staring at it

 from all angles day and

night; however, I might have stared a bit too long
my eyes had to rest

Mom has been fighting a head cold since Wednesday morning when she 

awoke with her throat feeling like she was strangled overnight.

Dad and I plead the 5th!!  The cold finally won

yesterday she was feeling very puny early and rested most of the day.

Lucky  for me she prepares my blog post a week in advance!!

I'm a task mistress

We hope to catch up today.
