Thoroughly Poetic Pictorial Thursday.

Today we join Two  SPOILED CAT
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

There is today's photo prompt

Forest
by Mom
Deep in the woods where the sun 'don't' shine
you'll find treasures to behold with stories untold.
If you know your stuff and don't mind roughin' it,
surprises are bountiful to the bold.
Trees grow tall, they shade the ground.
The earth is carpeted with lush green moss.
Some days rays of sun filter through the trees.
Other days are wet with a chill and a bit of breeze.
Forest critters scurry to and fro grabbing bits of sun.
When the rains come, with glee they all run for cover
under nature's umbrella the itty bitty mushroom tree.

I'm a little mushroom short and fat
I will grow and grow until you tip me over
Then you see I have stem underneath my hat
Critters that squirm congregate there to avoid getting wet.

  8. Oh these are brilliant! I bet a lot of forest critters use mushrooms as umbrellas in the rain - Then when the rain stops they pull their mushroom back to their burrow and make mushroom soup I bet. Well done dear girl - you and your Mom did well this week....next week will be fun too I think!

    Love, Teddy

  15. That picture reminded ghostwriter of hiking in Cook Forest in PA, where the air was filled with the scent of moss and cedar and ferns.
