Symmetry and Snicker Saturday

Below photos are of a new multi-purpose building.

We have watched this building rise from a giant hole in the ground

for the as 18 months maybe 2 years on our way to and from

lunch at Seaboard Cafe.

Finally it is finished.  As far as we can tell

they only occupant so far it

Publix Grocery Store which occupies the entire first floor

In spite of the major inconvenience, I do like the symmetry and art on the side of the building

Note all grocery carts all lined up neatly.

 Personally I would not want to live above a grocery store or on this very busy corner.

Side note:  This post was prepared using new blogger.  It is my 2nd post

Brian and his siblings are out host

I am very thankful to give you an excellent update on my dental visit on Tuesday, September 15.
WooHoo my gum is healing and the bone graft is getting more stable.
No cutting or dicing or slicing today.
My dentist wants to give my body another month to continue healing. I go back On Oct 19th.
Any way happy dance.  Oh I can chew on that side now but still no seeds or nuts at all until gum is completely heal. Thank you for all your kind words

He is such a  little whipper snapper and needs a chill pill.

Obviously, he’s brain hasn’t gotten the message that there will be no “catnuts” roasting by the open fire this season. 😹😹

In the meantime, I’ve discovered a new hideout on the dry sink. Mom put a blankie in it, so I’m comfy.

I’ll keep y’all posted on Rocky’s progress, and my patience. 😻

Dearest First Feline Nephew...

MOL MOL 'no catnuts roasting on an open fire'...Auntie is rolling on the floor with tears in her eyes.  That is HILARIOUS

Sometimes.....Auntie has learned over all her 100 years....that throwing one's weight around can sometimes be a sign of lack of confidence and maybe Rocky is trying to figure out his place in the pecking order of the house. 

I predict he will 'magically' become less of a whipper snapper and more docile in the weeks to come. Uncle says Rocky would be wise to wave a white flag of surrender...

Next photo was taken last Sunday, September 6, at 7 am

from our driveway. I've taken a few photos of 

the full moon and sun rising this past week.  This is #2.

Our house faces north.

There is just a hint of the sun rising in the wispy clouds (left photo)

BUT please notice how it is ever so gently kissing the tops of the 

pine trees in the center of the right photo...and another full moon setting to the west.
