Saturday Symmetry and LunaPic

Symmetry from morning walks in the 'hood.

These blooms must be hearty...photo taken the  morning after we had a light frost.

Janice and I walked around Cameron Village shopping center after our lunch on Wednesday.  I think this is for possibly taking selfies, constructed of metal with tiny white lights woven in the structure.

I played with it in LunaPic

Feline and Nature Friday Flashback to B.A.R. 2016

Nature Friday host LLB Gang  and Feline Friday  host Comedy Plus

Janice, my roving photo journalist, spotted this handsome kitty
taking a sunbath on her deck.

Nature Friday

In 2016 there was a most memorable meet and greet of
human and pet bloggers
We had bloggers from several US states:
California, Utah, Illinois, Pennsylvania,
North Carolina
Canada
and
across the pond from Scotland

There were two entrances to the park
This beautiful covered Bridge that Beth, Arty and Dory found

And this scenic road through the lush green canopy of trees

We took a group photo of the pups who attended
Left to right
Madi sent her flat self, Arty, Stanley, Murphy, Frankie, (Ernie was on the table in the background),  Hailey, Oreo, Casey, Jessie, Phod and Dory

Those who could not attend sent their flat selves.

According to the locals it was the hottest June on record, even hotter than
Dixie.
In the morning we had a wonderful shelter at Brown County State Park

In the afternoon we all met at the campground where several members parked their RVs.
Dory and Arty literally had it made in the Shade.

In spite of the heat, there were beautiful sunsets

Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday #44

  Today we join

Yesterday I was FINALLY able to have lunch with my dear gal pal and photo journalist Janice.   This was our first lunch since we celebrated our January birthdays in 2020.
 It was a beautiful day.
We met at Chick fil A, ordered our lunch which we ate on the Patio.   Janice arrived with a bag that she said was for me.  Bless her heart.  Tuesday she made two loaves each of lemon blueberry bread, banana bread and a pumpkin with cream cheese roll.  She could not decide which one to bring me...so she brought one of each. They are wrapped and ready to freeze.  I didn't want to unwrap.
We'll have the lemon blueberry first.
Such wonderful flavors to have with coffee.
Janice thank you for your friendship, loving and generous heart.

Janice has a new title: My Purrsonal baker and My photo journalist

 Two SPOILED CATS,

Angel Sammy and Teddy find such inspiring photos for us

This is the most adorable photo

An adorable pair,
twins in all ways
Even their hair.
Brothers from other mothers
always by each other side
Nose to nose and toes to toes
Rompin' and playin' is their game
As they grow, one will become taller
the other will remain the same
No matter the size their unconditional love
and memories made will be a bond
like no other.

Happy Tuesday: Guess Where

LEAD MINE LAKE this time of year I walk there a lot

Hosted by Comedy Plus

Recently I shared a heron on the deck just on the right side of this picture.  A few days later I saw a heron fishing.  This photo almost looks like a water color!

She made this wall hanging of Madi in 2011

Madi was sure she had competition for our affection.
