Spooky Spider Saturday

 The web was huge anchored from a big red maple to my car door. When felt it, I just knew I had a spider in my hair.  I was relieved to see  this (not so) ittsy bittsy spider crawling in his web. I might have squealed like a girl and almost considered taking another shower.

The name of the font in the text bubble is appropriately named

Dear Auntie HiC,

We celebrated Dad’s 71st on Saturday, October 8. Dad spent his 70th birthday having a colonoscopy, so anything would have been an improvement. 😹

Mom treated him to a lunch date earlier in the week, and we gave him gifts today. 

The felines were crazed with the bags & tissue paper, but I made sure they didn’t get too out of control.

Today I am very thankful for having very dependable dental care for the last 35 years.

I am currently on my second set of dentists in this practice. Eric Bufano and Lisa Bufano, husband and wife ( both about 50), bought the practice from my first dentist about 23 years ago from another very fine dentist who retired.  The practice is efficient and state of the art dental.  Yesterday's procedure went very well.

I'm guessing my jaw will be sore for a week or so due to having to keep my mouth open for about 2 of the 3 hours I was there. After preparing the cracked tooth, several images are made with the fancy crown machine.  It took about 1 hour for the machine to form then, bake the crown.  I watched HGTV.  Then lickety split Dr. Eric check the fit of the crown, his dental assistant bonded it in place.  The assistant polished it and I was out of there.  No temporary no waiting.  One stop, work.

Wednesday, October 5th, while eating popcorn I heard a not so normal crack in my mouth....

My dentist saw me at  9 am the next day...the verdict was the tooth  cracked near the back.  I hate it happened.   My dentist said the last X-ray on the lower left showed a small fracture in the tooth.  So it was inevitable. She told me they have so many cases where kernels break teeth.  I think what happened was I picked up several pieces a one time.  One was not full popped. I go back this morning for my dentist  to prepare the tooth for a crown. Thankfully they now have the skills to make them in house no temporary crown for 10 days and back again.  I'll come home tomorrow with my permanent crown.  I had one done that way about a year ago I am very pleased with it. 

Today I have a 9 am appt .  I'll be MIA for about 3 hours

Chicken Noodle Soup on the menu. Most of the soups are made in fall and winter.  

I have been dreaming about for a few weeks.

On Saturday, October 8th, I had my Happy Tuesday.  I was delighted to see their delicious chicken noodle soup on the menu.

Rafael is the official soup chef at Seaboard!! 

  I quickly ordered a bowl soup and a pumpkin muffin.

I was all kinds of HAPPY when I saw chicken noodle on the menu. 

Rafael came by to ask if lunch was ok.

I told him it was a 5 👍👍👍👍👍

My husband orders a BLT every week.

Shortly before we left he came back to our table with a bag.  This is for tonight's supper....to say I was happy, surprised and delighted is an understatement!!!

To say I was in Awww, when I parked beside this truck, would be an understatement.

As I was signing in at my doctor's office, I asked if they had seen the dog on top the truck.  They told me every time the owner has an appointment, the dog hops on top of the truck. He does not move until he sees his owner.  He gazed at me when I took the photos but not a peep came out of his mouth.

I was just getting in my car, when the owner came out. No words were exchanged between the owner and the dog...just a LOOK. The G.S. hopped down, what a gorgeous Dog.
