Easy Sunday and a few PLATES

Red house with a C  is Easy on my eyes with the beautiful blue skies in the background

Over the years, when I have featured vanity license plates, many of you commented that North Carolina must have the most anywhere.  Last week on the news, we heard an interesting statistic.  There are 300,000 vanity plates in North Carolina BUT that is only about 3% of the number of plates in North Carolina

*means I don't have a clue what it means

2. BAMBAMM, Bambam

3. SKITTER, nickname

4. KINGTUTT,

That house is most attractive indeed!

#5 - could be a conjugation of Latin 'piatus' (Appeased); then again, it might be from the Venetian dialect for plate/food (Italian is piato) - or referencing the Brazilian municipality of that name.
#6 - Scipio Aemilianus or Scipio Africanus the Younger, was a Roman general and statesman... wonder if they are claiming ascendent kinship?!
#7 - an online clothing brand
    #8 - I've drawn a BLNK on that one... 🥴
#11 - there is a lady with this ID on Soundcloud. There is also a Rich Madrid using that ID on Pintarest. There is a Ruth Deedyn on FB (locked)...
#12 - there's a 'Mamanik' on Instagram (no recent posts) who appears to be based just south of Washington and who travels widely with her family. (There are also Russian and Armenian references which I presume to be family names...)

    Happy Sunday! YAM xx

  2. I have seen three houses here painted that color. One is in the artist Colony but the others are in just normal houses. Your house looks better because of the type of house it is the color looks strange on the concrete block Florida house. That is a beautiful house. Most of the 300,000 must be in your area I wonder how many are in Raleigh

  5. Gosh, that is quite a selection. We have personal plates, well sort of. I wont say what it is else my fans will be mobbing us everywhere Mrs h goes shopping. But that picture is a delight, nicely composed and the sky a treat.

  7. It's always fun to see your list of plates. We have a lot of choices for specialty plates and we see many on cars here. The money from these plates goes to the organizations for what they do. But we don't see a lot of plates with personalized lettering. Maybe we are just busy looking at the specialty plates and not the letters and numbers. Your red house photo is lovely!

  8. I saw a plate in a meme the other day and thought of you right away. I think I saved the photo. If I did I'll share it on my blog.

    Love that red house!!

  9. That house could be yours. It's your favorite color with your first initial on it. We are always amazed with all the vanity plates you find.

  11. That house does have your C on it, if it were only Cside. Those are sure strange vanity plates, lots of unknowns, but someone knows, the shadow knows.

  12. We just knew you would be drawn to that beautiful red house:). Interesting plates, but the starred ones are a mystery to us.

  14. We like that red house....looks like they're doing some renovations - maybe new landscaping in front and more driveway/parking space......My Mom and Dad said they'll never have a vanity plate - too expensive - but they have fun figuring out what the ones they see might stand for!

  15. Love the red house, and that initial is yours and mine as well. Let's share!! Love it when you come up with a list of plates for us. I may have told you that though it wasn't a vanity plate, I did get to see a license plate from the Cherokee Nation It was actually a beautiful license plate.
