Post op update
Bryan's post op went very well, his Doctor was pleased with how his eye looked too
He has quite a shiner black eye from the numbing injection that was given.  This too shall pass.
Now we are doing drops 2x a day for 7 days
6 x a day for one til June 19
Well guess what?  Bryan has a real shiner/black eye too.  His story is eye surgery!!
I'm telling everyone he was in a bar fight. MOL BOL LOL

A numbing injection was given under his eye causing the shiner.

  1. Hang in and hang on. Uh, just don't hang upside down! All joking aside ... be better soon, the world will look wonderful and shiny new again before you know it. (no more bar fights tho)

  2. I get so squeamish about eye issues and surgery tops the list. We continue to send Bryan lots of healing vibes! Love the statue!

  5. LOL, a bar fight is a more interesting story to tell. My husband had a black eye once and he told everyone at work that I got mad at him and slugged him.
Glad to hear post op went so well. Sending good vibes for continued healing, one eye drop at a time.

  6. The statue of the little girl is really cute. So glad to hear that Bryan is doing well from the eye surgery. I'm sure he'll probably tell everybody that you took a rolling pin to him. The big question is does he feel like going and looking at the trains with one eye.

  13. What a cute sculpture. We're glad to hear Bryan is doing well. You should embelish your bar fight story to say he was defending your honor to make it sound even better.

  16. I had a shiner after my eye surgery, too, and I just told everyone they should see the other guy!

I'm glad he's recovering well and will pray it continues so.

The statue is beautiful, I would have taken a picture, too.

  17. That is a very nice statue of the little girl. We are so happy that all the news so far for Bryan and his eye surgery has been good. Mom says she is a pro at dosing out eyedrops as she does about 15-20 rounds of varying drops for Dad every day.
