Below is a collage I made early into my blogging to show all the pets
who have lived and loved unconditionally in this house.
Below collage you will find out about each photo in the voice of Madi.
1. Toto the mighty mini Dachshund was the family's first pet...he helped raise my human sis. Mom has so many funny stories about Toto and the trouble he got into way he certainly saw beautiful in each day.
2. Milky-Way was the second family pet and first feline. I'm reminded daily that Milky-Way's gentle soul and mild manner paved the way to the peeps heart for me...which is why he gets the centerfold.
3. Cali, a Cornish Rex, was my human sis's first cat of her very own which she picked out for her 21st b-day present. Milky-Way and Cali adored each other.
4. I, Madi, helped them realize that all cats are created differently. I came roaring into our house weighing about 4 tons 4 pounds, I took over their hearts and gave Mom lots of gray hairs. I was the Energizer Bunny taking names and kicking tush!!
5. Harley, also a Cornish Rex, is my human sis's second cat. If you aren't familiar with Rexes...let me just say they have the most wonderful personalities.

My nephews and niece thank you all for the fun comments you left this week too
Breaking news (hopefully not literally)
Apologies for being late to comment yesterday or visit.
I twisted my ankle (really bad) Wednesday night. Spent Thursday morning at my doc's office getting it checked out and xrays
It is better today and she doesn't think it is broken. Happy to report my right ankle is not broken...it is a soft tissue injury
Hugs cecilia
I love your patio set. Good memories of the sweet fur babies. I'm glad your ankle wasn't broken. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteawwww toto... and the beloved diva... we send hugs and potp and positive vibrations to help your ankle to heal...

ReplyDeleteThose shadows grow longer - the memories remain fond - and thank goodness just a strain, but POTP for that to bruise up and heal quickly! YAM xx
I bet you made your patio chair cushion and I love the collage of all of your precious furKids. We send you lots of healing vibes for your sore ankle, Miss Cecilia!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ankle. Those twists can hurt an awful lot.
ReplyDeleteLove the collage of the past furries that have live there.
Angel Madie I'm loving this post with you telling us about all the family fur. This is better than a box full of Family Jewels. I bet you're looking down on your mommy's ankle right now and hoping that it gets better quickly. Having your hands too full and walking on steps is a bad combination. Love the first two outdoor photos by the way.
ReplyDeleteThe collage is a great way to remember all the furry ones of the past. Mom would have to scan in photos since many were pre digital photos. We can't imagine how weird that would be. Glad your ankle isn't broken and hopefully it will heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteYour back porch and the view are lovely. The perfect spot to sit and enjoy a preferred beverage. ☕🍷
ReplyDeleteThe collage is a wonderful way to honour and remember your angels. 💕
I'm so sorry about your injured ankle, though! Ugh! I wish you speedy healing and a great physiotherapist if you need one! ❤️
The sunset makes that an even better place to sit and be peaceful. Two kitties I did not know about. A very sweet collage. I hope my Dutchie has met up with Toto♥
ReplyDeleteHoping for your ankle and its surounding soft tissue to behave and start to mend well and do it quickly!♥
I sure hope your ankle heals quickly...and the pain is minimal!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely back porch nature views! I especially enjoyed the picture of the table and chair!
Big hugs!
Beth
We love the collage of all the pets you've had. All paws are crossed that you heal quickly from the twisted ankle.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I am so sorry to hear about your ankle. Sprains take a long time to heal but I wish for you speedy healing. A lovely look from your porch and a sweet collage of all the little darlings you have/have had in your life.
ReplyDeleteSweeeeet collage of all your fur babies❣️
ReplyDeleteI am glad you didn't break your ankle and hope it is soon better. The porch looks lovely and peaceful. Beautiful collage of all your past pets.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo collage tribute to your 'angels.' ~ Do hope your ankle is not seriously hurt ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ xo

All your angels were beautiful. I am glad your ankle is not broken. I hope you heal quickly. XO
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty sunset and a lovely Angel collage. I'm sure glad your ankle isn't broken but those soft tissue injuries hurt like crazy.
ReplyDeleteSoft tissues injuries hurt as bad or more than a break. Bob's ankle caused him no pain from the fracture. Prayers for a quick recovery and glad you are not in a cast. I remember all the names of the cats as I read them and I love the header with Madi. I would love to go on an outing, any outing anywhere
ReplyDeleteI really like your nature and pet photos, you've had some amazing animals.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers for eoeedy healing and I thank you for linking po with Feline Friday.
Thank you, Angel Madi, for showing and explaining how all those who came before you paved the road for you. But it does seem that you were totally unlike any of them. Mommy says that's how it's been in our house, even among the 4 (I'm the 4th) schnauzers she's had. XOX Xena
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your ankle. I've heard - and experienced - that a sprained ankle can be worse than a break. Take care of it and of you, and hope you're back to yourself soon. Love to all, Amy
POTP for that ouched up ankle! Hope it heals up quickly. Glad that its not broken. I do think you may be spending a lot of time in that chair on your pretty porch!
ReplyDeleteNice to see all the 'befores'...I never had the privilege of knowing them.
