Lovely! Most of our colours are done now, alas. We actually have EARLY snowfall today! 😳 It won't last long, but still....!
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of red maples in our yard but the real STAR of the interesting colors this year has been our Beech tree - it gets color in "layers".....lime green, light green, and bright yellow all on one branch. ALL trees (except maybe oaks) get pretty in the Fall.

I am so amazed by the color you have up there! A real Fall! It would be so nice if we would see four seasons here. It is going to get chilly here tonight and for a few days. 40s at night and 60s for day temps. We are ready!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors, Cecilia. Dad has some like that around his boss's house, and he said just after one really, really cold night last week, about 75% of the leaves were on the ground, making the lawn around the tree look like it was covered in a lush red carpet.
