Thoroughly Thankful and Poetic Thursday #245

Thankful to two feline Angels

Brian and Sammy

Thank you to Brian's home for faithfully continuing

thankful Thursdays in Angel Brian's name.

Thank you to Angel Sammy for helping his mom find fun and challenging photos. They keep my/our minds creative.

My unwritten resolution for 2026 is

to find something to be Thankful for each week

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at

This week's photo challenge

In the summer, when it rains
Buddy and I get Muddy.
Mommy groans and moans about the mess
She is no old fuddy duddy
She still says
Show me your best buddy muddy, cuddly
smiles.

PS also very thankful I don't have to clean up the muddy buddies

  3. What a darling poem for that cute photo! Angel Sammy scored when he found that one for us to use didn't he. Two happy faces getting muddy together and giving Mom a reason to fill up the tub for a scrub!

  5. love it, and I am thankful I do not have a BABY. A dog is like having a baby, but better because he can stay home alone. ha ha..

  6. That kind of mud I'll have to be host off outside first, lol. And then inside to the bathtub for both of them! Cute poem.

  7. There is always something to be thankful for, even on the worst of days. Mom does not like dirt/mud at all. Last spring when Nelson was getting muddy all the time racing with the neighbor dog we thought she might explode. Thankfully that mud stuff is gone. Nelson is happy he doesn't need to be hosed off anymore before coming back inside.
