Nature Friday host LLB Gang
My friend, guest photo journalist and former coworker Janice sent me a text
"I was sitting in my chair, this squirrel came up on the deck. He was looking at us looking at him.
He stayed in the same position. I think he was waiting for dinner.
She said they have one who comes up to the back door, looks like a peeping tom, bumps his head on the door to get our attention.
I replied brazen, and cheeky tree rat. She said they are aggravating and entertaining.

IT IS MY JOB TO SEE
THAT MOM EATS ALL THE
LITTLE
(cheeri)O's
I take that responsibility very
seriously. However, I never ever steal them out of
her bowl BUTT if one falls off the spoon
IT IS MINE.
FYI: the 360 stand is for Mom's iPad.
She plays WWF while eating breakfast and lots of o's miss her mouth!!

our mama does that too while eating... sadly she eats only untasty stuff hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheeky little squirrel but oh so cute! Mom will share Cheerios with me sometimes too, Madi, but not milk soaked one. She gives me dry ones straight from the box.

ReplyDeleteThat's one well-fed looking squirrel! Yay for angel Madi getting brekky slipups! YAM xx
That's a big squirrel. I've had them in my yard and they are entertaining but I can see how they can become a nuisance too.
ReplyDeleteToo funny on the cheerios. That's shows a lot of self control that you never try to take any out of the bowl.
Our mama squirrel has carried the babies away somewhere a couple weeks ago. Hope we get to see them when they grow up a little. Angel Madie cannot believe your mommy would ever miss her mouth when she shoveling in Cold Cereal, lol. By the way I hope you got my email the other day.
ReplyDeleteThat squirrel looks a bit too well fed with that belly. He needs to race around and climb some trees to lose a bit of weight, LOL. Squirrels are daring and pests, it is what they like to be.
ReplyDeleteThat dude needs to be on a diet :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cheeky squirrel! It was good of Angel Madi to check you ate all your cereal.
ReplyDeleteSquirrels definitely are entertaining pests!
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi did a great job ensuring you ate your breakfast and started the day off right!
We have lots of squirrels in our yard lately. I love the flash back with Madi and the cheerios. I always wait for my mom to finish her cereal so I can lick the left over milk and cereal crumbs for her.
ReplyDeleteA healthy looking squirrel ~ Fun flashback of Madi with Cheerios ~
ReplyDeletehugs ^_^
Hugs Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ xo
Cute squirrel! But...us pups want to chase them all away! We have one black one with several white areas on it, so anyways he knows the sound of our doggy doors and is always GONE before we even get to have our fun! Squirrels are very smart dudes, even if they are rather pesky.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi was a good meal snoopervisor to make sure the bowl/platte was all eaten up properly.
I think his brother lives here, he is always looking in the sliding glass door to the deck. Be safe!
ReplyDelete"Aggravating and entertaining", that describes squirrels so well!

madi….tuna of moon wood eat cheer eee ohz, 24/7 if ya let him ‼️‼️😸💚🐾
ReplyDelete🤣🤣 eat you 'O's
ReplyDeletePrecious picture of Madi! I bet she was thinking she’d prefer you to eat a bowl salmon instead of Cheerios! We have a love/hate relationship with our squirrels! 😹😹😹
ReplyDeleteNice cat pictures. Yes, we have walnut trees; therefore we have squirrels. The fruit trees and I would be happier without the walnut trees. Maybe that would get rid of the squirrels!
ReplyDeleteCute tree rat and nice flashback of Angel Madi. Xo
ReplyDeleteWhen we were at Disney World many years ago, a squirrel came up to our table at an outdoor cafe and tapped my daughter’s shoe. When she didn’t immediately hand him something to eat, he tapped again and she gave him a french fry. He took it and ran off. They are cheeky, and very entertaining.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for an oat circle to drop is a brilliant strategy. Thanks for linking up with Feline Friday!
He was casing the joint
ReplyDeleteThose squirrels wouldn't be bothering anyone if WE were there! When Daddy's not home, Mommy eats at the counter where she can read her emails and eat all at the same time. Right now she's got roast beef, which we really wish she would drop on the floor! XOX Xena and my pack
ReplyDeleteLulu: "SQUIRREL!!!"
ReplyDeleteSquirrels can hypnotize with a look I find. Yours is a rascal but adorable! You are doing a great job staring down the cheerios sweet one. I'm sure mom might give you one or two if you look more pleading ;) Hugs to both of you and wishing you all a very happy weekend.
