Dear Auntie HiC,

After my walks on the leash, I find pleasure in lying on the cool driveway.
I listen to the birds & take in all the wonderful “woodsy” smells. The air is fresh and clean here in the woods, and we rarely hear any traffic.

I always need to brushed before going in the house, but that’s just another little added pleasure!

Happy Feline Friday❣️

❤️ Kat

Ellen came up with the first two and her wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

1. I’d like to learn how to play Guitar.  Little know fact, I took accordion lessons between the ages of 9-12.
2. Something I tried to make that was an epic fail was Yeast Bread.

Bryan's brother and his wife invited us to lunch today (at Noon) for BLT's with freshly picked NC Tomatoes and homemade apple pie
We'll have to roll ourselves home I'm sure.

  1. I’ve never known anyone who took accordion lessons. That’s quite interesting & I want to hear more about what inspired you to take lessons. 😉
The hot temps have prevented Kat from having outside time lately & he’s not happy about it one bit. He goes to the door & meows incessantly, making sure none of us are happy either! 😹😹😹

Kat, you have to persuade Kit to take you out for a pre-brekky ramble, before the sun gets hot! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. We can't imagine a cat on a leash. Mom's cat as a kid was on a tie out but she still managed to cat birds and rodents even on a 15 ft line!

  4. You wear a harness on your walks just like I do, Kat! Mom is always making breads and muffins and she has to admit that it's always a surprise for her to see that the yeast bread has risen!

  5. My dad taught me to play a few songs on the guitar when I was young. I couldn't do it now. I'm the same way, I can copy other people's work but I can't come up with my own designs.

  6. Kat definitely look like he was having a great rest after a lovely walk. We had two days of unbelievably extreme heat here and precious did not go outside but a few minutes at 5:30 in the morning when I was still dark. But when she comes in off the patio she too needs a lot of brushing can't believe how much stuff floats onto the concrete when I'm not looking. I tried to teach myself how to play a guitar when I was a teenager. That didn't work out very good.

  8. Kat is lucky he enjoys walking on leash. Most kitties wouldn't like wearing a harness like he does. I enjoyed reading your fill ins to learn more about you.

  9. Oh Kat, you are too cute. I am taking my morning walks first thing in the morning before the sun is all the way up to avoid the heat....

  13. That's some impressive leash walking Kat! Those are good answers. Hey, I started playing guitar when I was 8, yes, that was sure a long time ago!

  17. A walk and a brushing, a great thing to do each day if the weather is clement.

Yeast bread is not easy, but in a bread machine it’s much better.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!
