Glad to hear you had one close by and that you could go. When I tell my hubby he'll be wishing we had gone there too. Especially if we were farther south and up here in ohio, lol. Rainwater! That's the only kind of water I ever knew growing up. I never knew any City girls, so I had no idea they would have liked to have rain water to wash their hair. We lived with a cistern, so everything we did was with rain water!
Glad you both enjoyed yourselves, Cecilia. Re: your comment about your heart on Grandfather Mountain- dad wanted me to tell you that he felt like he left his heart up there a few times last time they hiked it some years ago. Mom was the brave one going out on some big, wide rock overlooks, but dad says age has toned his braveness down a bit.
I understand, LOL. Jeff has wanted to go to places where I have no interest in going, so I usually wait outside so he can take his time and not feel pressured.
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh!! “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. Buscaglia) TONS OF HUGS
