THOROUGHLY THANKFUL and POETIC THURSDAY #268

Thankful Thursday hosted

Last week I took a shopping trip to Amazon.com. I needed a new robe. I originally clicked on a beautiful burgundy red with gray trim.  Said out of stock. Next choice was a pretty teal with gray trim.

On Thursday, June 18, I had two packages delivered. Lo and behold Amazon sent both. I contacted Amazon.  They said it was their practice to let customer keep 'free of charge' the extra item that was mistakenly sent free of charge, if I wanted it. WELL YEAH, MY MAMA DIDN'T RAISE NO FOOL.  I SAID THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I WILL KEEP THEM. I WASHED THE BURGUNDY red that day.  (I have some skin allergies, I have to wash all new clothes).  THE TEAL IS STILL IN THE in packaging, HERE IS THE BURGUNDY.  I LOVE THE SOFT FABRIC

  4. That red robe was made for you and we love Amazon's policy! Your poem is PERFECT! I haven't been on a plane since mom passed in 2016. Visiting her was always the highlight of my year♥

  5. Well that was a happy score with Amazon. I always appreciate free things.
I can't tell you the last time I was on a plane. I think it was when I was 18. We'll just skip the math on how many years that is.

  6. How wonderful a surprise for you to open the package and find robe that you truly wanted. You enjoy wearing it for a very long time. And the teal one, you can loan to your husband if he needs a new robe, lol.

  11. I’m going to try ordering a robe & tell Amazon I want the same two for one deal you got!!!😹
I agree with your 100%! So many people on planes behave like they’re in the privacy of their own homes. Ugh! Flying on Japanese Airlines is a totally different experience. First class! 😉

  17. I am not a robe person... too hot here. Boxers and a sleep shirt. But if I was into robes this one would call to me. Good deal you received!

I picked the right day to read your post, you have something for all of us. LOVE the turtle, fake or real, and I think the photo is adorable... I would love to see a chipmunk, never seen one live with my own eyes. Rocky and Kat, so proud of you for doing the right thing and sharing that bed. you are sooo adorable.

  21. Lulu: "That robe looks very comfy! Although I feel like Charlee would destroy it pretty quickly making muffins on it in somebody's lap if we had it here."
    Charlee: "It's a fair cop."
Lulu: "Our Dada will be traveling on a plane soon and he is not looking forward to it! He says flying used to be fun but now it's just an ordeal. Maybe he is doing it wrong."

  23. I love Amazon. I wish they could make the world as right as they do our orders!
Xena: I'm trying to figure out how to open my own Amazon accout with Mommy or Daddy's credit card.(Shhh, it's a secret.)
Chia: Hey Xena, when you figure it out let me know so I can order stuff too. Then I won't tell Mom or Dad what you did.
