Wordless but Tasty Wednesday

We thank our Hostess Sandee at

 Comedy Plus

Last Wednesday we had lunch at a new to us restaurant,

Village Tavern.

As soon as we were seated Ben our very nice server, asked  "would like a basket of warm bread and  freshly made butter"?

TO WHICH WE REPLIED

YES PLEASE

DARK BREAD IS MULTI GRAIN, LIGHt YEAST BREAD
I thought the thin things were chop sticks...they were not.

the were the extra thin bread sticks

This is a picture of the dining room where we were seated, it was full in a nano second

(no photos of our meal)
I ordered a Tavern burger with sweet potato fries
Bryan ordered a Pimento cheese and bacon burger with French fries
delicious and filling.  We only had a fruit salad for supper.

  5. Sounds like a lovely lunch. And the nice thing about having such a big one it does mean you don't have to cook supper, lol. We do this and occasionally and I am grateful not to have to make anything for supper.

Thankful you arrived early. I’m not sure which is more appealing; the ambience or the bread! 😹
