Hi everyone...My peeps are going to visit friends in Boonville, NC, which is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail. Our plan is to visit two or three of the local wineries while in Boonville. North Carolina has a booming wine business. We do not claim that Yadkin Valley, NC is the Napa Valley of the East; however, we are up and coming. Don't worry about Madi...she'll be in the very capable hands of Miss Debbie the best pet sitter in North Carolina. She will come to our house daily to take care of the Diva's needs. The best thing about Miss Debbie is she is very generous with food, because as you all know, 'I live to eat not eat to live'.Madi and Mom

Oooooo, wine! Mmmmm! <--That's what our mommy says. She think it smells weird, but she loves the stuff! She actually just came home with a bottle of merlot tonight. Me (Skeeter) tasted Pinot Grigio last week and it was sweet. I like sweets! Have a blast. Maybe when my humans come down to NC to visit mom's dad human, they canstop by the winery. Is it near Raleigh? Mom loves trying all different wines and wineries. Looking forward to seeing your pics...

That sounds like fun,,,Maybe sometime you could extend your journey to North Georgia Wine Country.I live w/in 3 miles of 3 beautiful vineyards and wineries...I can get a fall calendar of events if you're interested .
