Madi: The story of 4 boxes

Boxes are a very important part of a Kittie's life. There are all types:

necessary boxes, fun boxes and evil boxes.

This post will be about all types.

First and most important to a kitty is the litter box

PICTURE NOT INCLUDED

(You are welcomed, to your thank you, for not including it)

My very favorite box in the world is my 'box with a window'.

It might look like an ordinary Office Depot box to you but it IS NOT.

I can see everything that goes on in my house from the window

and I can take the best naps in this box.

My next favorite is a magical box, it turns my 2 laser eyes in to 4

giving me extra powers to see all and know all.

Last but not often visible is this box.......

labeled "Madi's Box"...ah you say that must be filled with

wonderful delightful "Madi Treasures".

to that I reply a big fat

N.......O..........N.........O........ N........O..........

That box is filled with anything but treasures...

(Kitties close your eyes before your Mom shows you this picture)

Madi's box

contains

instruments of torture

THE DREADED NAIL CLIPPERS AND FILES

NOT ONLY DOES MOM HAVE 1 OF EACH SHE HAS 2 OF EACH

DOUBLE THE FUN.....

I must say clipping my claws doesn't hurt...Mom does a very good job.
What I dislike is being held like a baby (Dad's job). I'm on my back, I have NO CONTROL, I'm confined and to top it off, Mom holds my paws one at at time. Now tell me how many kitties do you know who like to have their paws held. NONE.

Except for this torture every 6 weeks, my life is

cat-tastic.

The End

Madi

  1. What a pawesome story of your boxes, Madi! And for the record...I LOVE when my mommy holds my paws! I let her clip them all the time. Even, file them with her nailfile!!! I know, it's weird and strange, but since I'm a total mommy's girl, I aloow her to do whatever she wants!!! You make us MOL and we are so happy you're our furriend!!!

  2. Hi Madi, we are glad you liked our Autumn walk! We liked your post about boxes. Our mum had a very special cat for 22 years - she still misses her. We love having the opportunity to read cat blogs with all the cool pics.
We are sorry about the torture box! We hate having our nails clipped!!!!
    We loved your laser eyes!!!

We loved the story about your magic boxes. And we loved the pictures of you in those boxes. Momma learned to let me get sleepy and have treats and then she trims my nails. I pretend like I am going to "bite" her, but I never do. She doesn't hurt me either. Then she just gives me a treat and I surrender. She can clip away.

  5. Madi, our Happy is a indoor cat and an outdoor cat. We do not cut her nails. Now Bambi gets her nails filed every week. She gets in Toms lap and he just holds her for awhile, then he turns her over and holds one paw at a time and files with a electric file. She loves getting in Toms lap, she puts up with the filing.
    Thanks for your visits!!!
    Love ya, Bambi and Fern

  6. Hi, Madi!
I can see how important are boxes in your life!
The one with a window is pawesome!
Cutting my nails is something my mom is not able to do! She is so afraid to hurt me that she prefers to take me to the Vet for that!

  8. Madi, we hate the clippers too!! Just like you we are held down while mom holds our paws and clips our beautiful claws one by one! Sure, it doesn't hurt...but it is torture all the same!!

We hafta say, we like your other boxes though...we like that one that gives you extra laser eyes...we gotta get one of those!

  9. We likes that box with the window in it!

But that last box is very scary!

Thanks for your kind words to mom! It is part of parenting we guess when mom is distressed over a grown child!

  11. Whose eyeball is that on the floor? That is scary! I like all your forts. I can't seem to fit in any of Dudleys.... I like to get my nails clipped and then Beth files them too. I just lay there like I am at a spa....life is good!

Sadie says " your box with the window is cool, she bets Momo and Maxx would like it."
I think Sadie would have fun with the box too.

  13. Hi Madi,
Oh I hate the nail trimming torture, too!
    Mom calls mine 'bear claws'!
Maybe I can dig a hole and hide your torture kit from your mom?!

  14. You've got some good boxes! The one with a window looks like the window needs to be a wee bit bigger for comfort. We're just sayin'.... But we really like the one that doubles your lasers! That's just cool! :D

  17. We love your box pictures - the one with the window is awesome! We also have a box like the torture box - it isn't labeled but it has all the torture devices in it. But we also have a fun box full of kitty toys - that is the best one we have.
