Madi: Facts I learned while riding around


Here I am on my bike with a few facts about North Carolina for you:


Did you know this about Piedmont North Carolina:
Piedmont means foot hill in French

The first state owned art museum in the country is located in Raleigh
**
Krispy Kreme Doughnut was founded in Winston-Salem, Winston-Salem was created when two towns Winston and Salem combined
**
High Point is known as the Furniture Capital of the World
**
Arnold Palmer played golf on the championship golf team at Wake Forest University
**
The State Bird is the Cardinal

  7. Gee Madsters!! You are one smart and athletic kitty!! How do you ride that bike AND think at the same time? I would sooo fall off it if I tried!! Thanks for those bits of info..who knows when they might come in handy!! Be careful on that bike..I think I'll go back to my windowsill before the sun is all gone...love that sunshine. Mmmmmm!! Hope you got some, too..it does a kitty a lot of good!
