Friday Flashback with Milky-Way

Milky-Way was a very good companion. He was always ready for a snuggle or a lap to sit in;
however, if there was no lap available he was perfectly happy to sit in this chair in my sewing room. He was rather picky about the number of cushions....there always had to be two and if he happened to be sitting near a window...his world was as close to purrfet as it could get. When I was pinning pattern pieces to fabric, I did not like having Milky-Way with me. He was absolutely obsessed with the tissue paper of the pattern pieces. He would lick the pattern
pieces until they disintegrated. I don't know what is in kitty 'spit' but it is POWERFUL.

  9. LOL...maybe not the spit so much as that rough ol tongue.

    My "helpers" like to play with patterns too! That's usually when they get banned to their room.

  13. What a pretty cat Milky-Way was. I think M.O.M.'s cat can smell the pattern paper cause she is up on the cutting table before M.O.M. can even get the entire pattern pulled out of the envelope!! Very nice picture. Hugs and wags, Mistaya

  17. Hi Madi and Mom,
    Kitties are fascinated with the tissue paper in my experience. Any light tissue paper calls them, that makes that special noise.
    MW looks like a very sweet cat!!
    Happy Easter to all your family!!

  18. Hi Madi & Mom,

    Milky Way had a really nice power spot, a view and comfortable too. He was a beauty.

    I think tissue paper must have an interesting sound and smell. Cindi Lou was a great "helper" this past Christmas, I had a lot of tissue paper that didn't survive her help.

    Hugs and Purrs,
    Judy and Cindi Lou
