Thursday Theme Song

This week's contribution is
'If I had a hammer (or The Hammer Song)'
Lyrics: Lee Hays and Pete Seeger
Vocals: the very talented trio of
Peter, Paul and Mary
If I had a hammer

I'd hammer in the evening, all over this land
I'd hammer out danger, I'd hammer out warning
All over this land
If I had a bell
I'd ring it in the morning, All over this land
I'd ring out danger, I'd ring out a warning
All over this land

If I had a song, I'd sing about the

LOVE between my brothers and my sisters...
ALL OVER THIS LAND

Madi and I thank Hootin' Anni for sponsoring Thursday Theme Song

Madi would like to thank all her brothers and sister (pets) who came before her being such good puppies and kitties which has made her life so full of love.
UPDATE ON MY PAPA'S SURGERY: Thank you everyone for your good wishes. The went well...all the cancerous cells were removed from under his eye; however, due to the depth of the surgical area, Mom and Papa will have to go to another doctor today to have reconstructive surgery and to be sure there is no muscle or nerve damage under his eye. Mom and Papa will be leaving home at 5:00 am today...I doubt we'll be able to visit anyone today.

  2. Hi Madi & Mom,

That is a wonderful song choice and we love all of the photos. Those skies are gorgeous.

But our favorite photos are of course the beautiful Madi and her brothers and sisters. We hope Harley is doing better and gaining some weight.

We will be thinking about your Papa tomorrow Madi. It sounds like he has some really great doctors. Tell your Mom not to worry about comments, 5 am is really early.

    Hugs & Purrs,
    J and Cindi Lou

  5. Don't worry about visiting. Taking care of Papa is the important thing. After that, there's making it up to Madi for being away, so Mom's going to be busy.

Blog Mom loves that song. She's gone to see Pete Seeger lots of times. She's seen him do his Thankgiving weekend performance at Carnegie Hall for the last ever time 2 or 3 times now. He keeps coming back due to popular demand. At 90, he's still active and still Pete.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  16. Hi Madi! Thanks for helping out with my Diva problem. I don't know what I would do without you. Glad all went well today. Take good care of your mommy and daddy, I am certain they must be very tired. Maybe you can cook tonight. I have been singing that song, If I Had a Hammer. Beth said if I had a hammer I would probably drop it on her toe. Isn't she funny....
