OH MY CATS...I THINK I'VE BEEN CLONED!!!
I SMELL ME ON THIS BUT I CAN'T FIND ME
LOOK AT THIS VERY BEAUTIFUL CROCHETED SCARF
MOM MADE FROM MY 'FUR YARN' THAT OUR VERY SPECIAL FRIEND SPUN FOR US. IF YOU DID NOT READ OUR POST ABOUT MY 'FUR YARN' LAST WEEK, YOU MAY CLICK

MOM USED HALF OF THE YARN FOR THIS SCARF.
MY 'FUR YARN' IS THE TWO GRAY ROWS.
ORIGINALLY MOM WAS GOING TO USE BLACK YARN BUT THE NICE LADY AT GREAT YARNS, THOUGHT THIS VERIGATED YARN WITH TEALS AND BLUES IN IT
WOULD BE VERY COMPLIMENTARY TO MY 'FUR YARN'
AND SHE WAS RIGHT!!! AS YOU CAN SEE IT SHOWS
UP NICELY AGAINS MOM'S BLACK COAT
HERE IS A CLOSE UP OF MY 'FUR YARN'
ONCE AGAIN MOM AND I THANK OUR VERY SPECIAL FRIEND FOR SPINNING MY 'FUR IN TO YARN' SO THAT MOM CAN WRAP ME AROUND HER NECK TO KEEP HER WARM THROUGH THIS COLD WINTER. MOM SAYS SHE HAS ENOUGH OF MY 'FUR YARN' TO MAKE ANOTHER SCARF...MAYBE WITH ANOTHER COLOR.
If you ever need any extra, Jack produces enough fuzz each week to knit about 15 bedspreads and a few hundred tablecloths...

ReplyDeleteThe scarf turned out beautifully, Madi's fur is the prettiest shade of gray we have ever seen. It does match well with the teal and blue of the other yarn. That is going to be a really warm scarf plus a great way to have the Diva close all the time.
Madi, we think a clone of you would be nice but there can only be one Diva.....right?

We once saw a story on TV where this woman (it's kinda foggy in Mom's memory) did the same thing as your Mom's good friend. She makes yarn out of cat fur but she has started a business and makes purses for sale. Expensive purses...$$$...Mom was fascinated by that, she loves what your Mom made with your fur. What a special special piece.
