MISH MASH

Good Sunday Morning to you all.
Yes I'm finally sleeping on the 'special pad' Mom
made to keep me off her new spread;

however, joke is on Mom.  As you see below, I left my pawprints
on the spread  just to let her know I 'can' and probably 'will'
get my furs all over the spread anyway.
The lovely flower pictures below were taken in early May before
our city became as dry as a bone.  We decided today was the
perfect day to post them.

Not much is thriving in this heat except the precious little family of bunnies that was born in our yard. We have enjoyed watching them frolick about our back yard. They have been very helpful at controlling  the 'weeds' that pop up under our bird feeders.  We cannot believe how tame they are.  This one is actually posing for the picture.

This pretty fountain at a local shopping center is quite refreshing.
The picture was taken about a month ago.  Mom expects it is now turned off to conserve water.
 Thank you for stopping by
Hugs Madi and Mom

  3. Madi, your pad looks so comfy but we're sure your furs will still find their way to the spread.

All of the flowers are so beautiful. It's starting to get dry here too but so far no mention of a water shortage.

The little bunny is absolutely adorable. It would be so much fun to watch them play.

  5. Shhhhh, don't tell my cats about your special pad. They make do with an old beach towel on the bed to protect the spread. And, like you, they make sure I know that they can go anywhere they want on that bed. Oh well, what's a few cat hairs?

The flowers are beautiful, and I'm sorry to hear that your drought is so severe that even the fountains must be turned off. I hope that it rains soon. You keep an eye on those rabbits now, Madi. You want to make sure that they don't decide to come in the house and live with you. ;-D

  15. Madi of course your fur is going to be on the whole bed this part of the Cat's Rule. Your deliberate paw prints are a cute reminder of those rules.

We agree with you it's always better with some of our fur on it too!
We have started our rainy season, we had been very dry with lots of fires in our area but we've been getting regular rain/thunderstorms a couple of times a day now.

  18. We have a little bunny hanging around our yard, but not an entire nest of them. They are so cute and sweet and I love watching them, unless I'm trying to grow tomatoes, which I'm not this year...Beautiful floral photos...Quit tryin' to outsmart Madi - you know it's not gonna happen. *wink
