Thursday Theme Song: Featuring Neil Sedaka

Mom and I thank Hootin Anni for sponsoring

Since we have had a LOT of rain (we are not complaining) for the last few weeks we thought Laugher in the Rain by Mr. Neil Sedaka
was an appropriate song for this week.  Mom has revised some of the words to the song.

Strolling along NC mountain (country) roads with my baby

(This picture was taken right outside of Boone, NC in the beautiful NC mountains)
Mom has no idea how she got the pink hue.
It starts to rain, it begins to pour

Without an umbrella we're soaked to the skin
I feel a shiver run up my spine

I feel the warmth of her head (hand) in my hand
Oo how I love the rainy days
and the happy way I feel inside
We run under a tree and she purrs (kisses me) in my ear
There with the beat of the rain on the leaves

She breaths softly and closes her eyes (I close my eyes)
Oo I hear laughter in the rain
Sharing our love under stormy skies

Oo I love a rainy day and the happy way I feel inside.
Thank you Mr. Sedaka for these beautiful lyrics and music.  We hope you enjoy this video...
Mom loves the lovely piano music too.

  3. Ooooh! We love this song and Mr. Neil Sedaka and his piano. Looks like you are getting lots of rain but we see that Miss Madi is staying nice and dry, she is so smart.

We are expecting some rain the first of next week (finally) but looks like it just going to be light showers.

  17. I grew up in Boone and my mom said you can always tell the tourists because they are the ones that don't carry an umbrella even if the sun is shining. Those showers can pop over the mountains abruptly. Lovely photograph.
