THURSDAY THEME SONG: PUPPY(KITTY) LOVE

Mom and I thank Hootin' Anni for sponsoring

Today we are featuring the one of Mom's favorite singers, Mr. Paul Anka singing 'Puppy Love".
We'd also like to say Happy 70th b-day to Mr. Anka this week!!
Wikipedia defines Puppy Love as a crush or calf love and even kitten love. It is an informal term for feelings of love or infatuation felt by young people, so-called for its resemblance to the adoring, worshipful affection that may be felt by a puppy.  Since it can be kitten love we'll use kitten in the place of puppy.

And they called it puppy love
Oh I guess they'll never know
How a young heart, how it really feels
And why I love her so.
And they called it puppy love... just becasue we're 17
Tell them all, oh please tell them it isn't fair to take my only dream
I cry each night, it's fears for you,
my tears are all in vain
I hope and pray that maybe someday
You'll be back in my arms once again.

Someone help me help me please.
Is the answer, is it up above?
How can I Oh how can I ever tell them?
This is not a puppy love......
Mom and I dedciated this song to all our kitty and puppy friends.

  15. You have great taste, Madi!
Paul Anka is such a talented guy and the father of 6 or 7 girls. Did you know that? He's gotta be a good guy to live in a house full of women, don't you think?! LOL

  20. I have to say that when I think of the song Puppy Love, Donny Osmond comes to mind. Of course, I grew up listening (and Loving!!!) the Osmonds. They were my all-time favorite group and like a million other teen girls I was in love with Donny! My walls were plastered with Tiger Beat pictures and posters of Osmonds. My Grandmother used to say that I was never in the dark in my room because my walls were covered with glowing teeth.
I do like the picture of Madi under her cover. Very cute!
