IT IS CRUNCH TIME...

...is what Mom bellowed while I was peacefully napping in my upper chamber on Saturday.
Being a curious feline, I asked Mom exactly what that meant.
She told me there are 10 days until Thanksgiving day
Which would mean less time behind the 'puter helping me blog this week. I told her that was unacceptable but she gave me that 'Mom look'.  I have learned pick the battles I can win and this wasn't one.
SHE TOLD ME THE SUCKING MONSTER WAS GOING TO BE SUCKING UP GRAY FURS AND DUST BUNNIES.....REST ASSURED I'LL BE HIDING IN A FAR CORNER DURING THIS EVENT

SHE SAID SHE WOULD SLAVING AWAY IN FRONT OF THIS MACHINE A LOT WHICH IS FINE BY ME 'CAUSE SHE CAN CERTAINLY MAKE SOME MIGHTY NICE SMELLS COME OUT OF IT
AS ALL THESE MACHINES WEREN'T TAKING UP ENOUGH OF HER TIME,
SHE PULLS THIS THING OUT OF THE CLOSET TO WORK ON SOME

TOP SECRET PROJECTS

ALL I CAN SAY IS THERE WILL BE DEMERITS ISSUED AND NOTES TAKEN...HER ANNUAL EVALUATION MIGHT NOT BE AS GLOWING AS SHE EXPECTS.

THE GOOD NEWS IS WE WILL BE CHECKING IN ON YOU ALL THIS WEEK BUT SHOULD WE BE MIA ON ANY GIVEN DAY ONE OF THE ABOVE MACHINES WILL BE TO BLAME.

  1. Your mom is right Madi, it's crunch time. The countdown has begun and there is so much to be done. Miss Cindi already has her hiding corner ready cause she knows the sucking monster is going to be around a lot the next few days.

Our advice would be to find a good place to sit and observe and enjoy all the good smells.

  6. Let me tell you a little secret ...crunch day means turkey day is coming soon and that means treats for us!! Just make sure you stand right behind her while she is cooking, maybe even trip her so she drops some goodies on the floor.

  7. We have to admit our mom's thankful that our Thanksgiving is celebrated in October, not so close to Christmas. LOL. Good luck to your mom as she does all her preparations, and we hope you get lots of turkey on the day, Madi!

  12. Oh, there's seems to be a lot of commotion going to be going on! My Kramer also HATES that sucking machine and hides far away as well! He even doesn't like all the company who will be arriving so we won't see much of him.

Our Mom has been MIA for the last 4 days. Just "things" got in the way. We looked at her and wondered what "things" she was talking about. But there were days when she just wasn't home until after O dark thirty. I mean the nerve our dinner was late 2 nights in a row. So we hear you loud and clear. We suppose the coming weeks Mom might be MIA with what she said are the upcoming "holidays". WE think everyday is a holiday, so we dont get it!

  18. Oh no! Too many machines, Madi! We hope your mom doesn't work too hard!!

  19. Madi, it's too bad about those machines taking up your mom's time, but I'm sure she has very good reasons for it. Thanksgiving is a very important time. You just think about it, and be thankful you have such a good mom, and you live in such a nice house.
