Thursday Theme Song: featuring Mr. Alan Jackson

Mom and I thank Hootin Anni for sponsoring

.
Today's featured song is Let it be Christmas.  He wrote both the lyrics and music about two years ago.
It is one of Mom's absolute favorite Chritmas songs and she predicts it will be a classic such beautiful words and music.  About half way through the video, Mr. Jackson's wife (in red dress) and 3 daughters join him on stage followed by a large children's choir.  We have the video posted first so you can play it whill looking at the picutres.  We hope you enjoy it.

Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the hearts of all people both near and a far
Christmas everywhere
Feel the love of the season wherever you are
On the small country roads lined with green mistletoe
Big city streets where a thousand lights glow.
Let it be Christmas every where
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let it be Christmas everywhere
With the gold and the silver the green and the red
In the smiles of all the children asleep in their beds
In the eyes of young babies their first fallen snow
Elderlys' memories that never grow old

Watch the box lid closely in the next two pictures....
Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the songs that we sing and the gifts that we bring
Christmas everywhere

In what this day means and what we believe
From the sandy white beaches where the blue water rolls
Snow covered mountains and valleys below
Let it be Christmas everywhere. If you look closely, you'll see lots of mini Moms reflected in the bulbs. MOL
Today's pictures were taken in Cameron Village Shopping Center and Crabtree Valley Mall

Thank you for visiting today.

  11. The main reason I try to do all my shopping early is so that I can really enjoy the Christmas decorations without having to shift and wait in line. Yours are very nice.
